Jan 18th 2010 12:25PM I saw them on Kazzak-EU to
But with a twist: they were floating in the sky...an army of human paladins flowing in the sky all looking in one direction staring...staring all the time
Someone call an exorcist
Jan 14th 2010 11:09PM Well about the Maraudon thingy (sorry for posting this up so high but its an issue people should be aware off)
Maraudon is currently bugged and is messing up the leveling by instancing
You get que'd for Orange crystals before purple crystals and as early as lv 40
At which point the bosses there are red to you.
As a healer this is only a minor inconvenience, and even as a dps class it can be overcome
As tank its absolutely horrible: it is neigh impossible to hold aggro on a red boss causing a lot of possible wipes due to crushing blows, missed taunts and other nasty things associated with red enemies
To make matters worse, the lower lv purple crystals becomes available much later of which the boss is IIRC lv 43 which is completely doable for lv 40's
and to completely add to the chaos: maraudon orange crystals is for 3 lv's the only available instance through random dungeon finder, namely the exact lv's where it is almost impossible to do.
This is not a complaint about the game being to hard, because its not. It just reduces it to an unfun gambling game. No tank at that lv is geared enough to take 5 crushing blows in a row, none.
I am currently lv'ing a warrior through instancing and pvp (aka no quest) but I found myself having to quest my way to lv 45 before dungeons became enjoyable again
Why I post this here? It should be fixed, and the more people know about this the faster it gets fixed. It is relatively simple: switch orange and purple crystals in place and it is solved. It simply isn't fair to pit a group of possably 5 players new to the game against a red boss which is a complete rng fest made to wipe people
If this gets downrated I understand but It was my oppinion that people should know about this
Jan 14th 2010 11:00AM I agree with most of your post, but one thing.
The imprisonment of the orcs was actually the best option for the horde. They could not have let the orcs roam free for 2 reasons: 1 nobody knew if they just wern't faking it and would go back to killing everyone they saw (remember the alliance never knew about their noble past, nor about demon blood, all they knew was that green skinned monsters came out of the dark portal and killed everyone who couldn't get out of their way). And 2: there would have been massive civil unrest if they did. Possably civil wars. The people wanted retribution for their losses, which is perfectly understandably. If an orc killed your wife and children you are not okay with it being released just because them seem like they'll never do it again, justice doesn't work that way right now either.
There were some evil camps, that is true, but there were also other camps where they actively tried to cure the orcs from their state of apathy (and one dalaran mage got killed this way). But still this was way better then what the High elves (now who are partially horde as the bloodelves) and Greymane wanted: killing every single orc on azeroth. Which they by all laws of the nations involved had full rights to.
The orcs were not slaves: they went in a state of apathy, doing absolutely nothing. So using them as slaves was out of the picture. Many nations had to increase taxes to feed the orcs causing their civilians to sorta rise up against it.
There were far worse things that could have happened to the orcs
Dec 28th 2009 2:17PM I encountered something strange, yet related lately
Somehow I managed to get from Darnassus into a phazed version of darkshore
It was the same...well allmost: there were no npc's and from the short time I could be there before I was teleported out again I noticed what seemed like some small differences
I think there's gonna be miniature phazing right before the big bang making small changes...and darkshore seems like a reasonable place for this, after all its going to be hit hard

If I'm correct the fire and ice magic mages use is radically different from the one which shaman use. It isn't true elemental fire or elemental water but rather arcane energies twisted to resemble the heat and cold elements of fire and ice
A bit like using arcane energy to summon a biscuit, but then a giant fireball which you toss at your enemy
Shaman on the other hand ask permission to the elements to wield their powers into battle
Nov 22nd 2009 6:37AM sigh... the most popular and loved items were allways the ones with the cool procs/effects
ICC is not a pvp'ers area its a pve'rs, let us have some fun for once, not just numbers and stats but fun.
Not everything has to be turning around pvp, if it bothers you that much ask if procs are disabled in your precious arena, not ask for them to be removed, I speak for most people that a trinket that increases your whatever stat by X ammount isn't nearly as awesome as one that summons a giant cannon to blast your enemy with
Nov 19th 2009 2:03PM Rogues just had Twin blades and hunters had the bow
Casters and ferals should indeed get something
Nov 14th 2009 5:15PM its only a joke don't take everything to serious
We can't laugh with disabled
We can't laugh with other nationalities/religions/beliefs
We can't laugh with someone we know
We can't laugh with politicians
what can we laugh with: the weather?
Nov 13th 2009 7:22AM You might wanna notice that the current lich king is for the greater majority a fallen human hero you know maybe you heard of him, arthas?
Not everything should be equal for every side, they should just choose what is more likely for a character, and frankly besides all cleave jokes saurfang jr has no way the same resistance/mental strenght bolvar has.
You realy wanna have more Garrosh's just cause every side needs it opposite?
Nov 11th 2009 10:57PM as a feral druid that haste is a big boo to
they just couldn't have chosen something usefull for everyone like say crit
