Oct 22nd 2009 12:05PM Blizz loves to say "What's your game?" in their WoW ads and they have a point: play the game the way you want, the way that'll make it fun and satisfying for you. For me, it means giving each of my toons their own build, something I came up with myself, whether it's merely a modified version of an established build or something I built from the ground up.
Don't get me wrong- if the build sucks, it's back to the drawing board. I'll pay attention to what works and what doesn't, look up Wowhead and Thottbot for how talents work, etc. But there's this beautiful satisfaction with coming up with a character that's different and unique from everyone else's.
Sep 3rd 2009 9:22AM Goes to show you don't need a complicated plot to tell a good story. :-) Care and attention to detail goes a long way.
Jul 28th 2009 8:44AM I play an Orc rogue and I'm really looking forward to 3.2 allowing rogues to use 1-handed axes. Finally, after almost 3 years of play, I can use my Axe Specialization racial!
However, going through WoWhead, I can't help but notice that there aren't many 1-handed DPS or Agility-based axes for level 80 characters. There aren't any blue 1-handed DPS axes from pre-Heroic instances (below level 200). There's only the Stalacite Chopper and the Key from Heroic NR Dungeons. There are no epic raid axes until Yogg-Saron, who drops the Touch of Madness. There aren't any Heirloom 1-handed DPS axes either.
And since axes will mostly be used by Combat rogues, there aren't any fast rare or epic off-hand axes in the current build at all. Combat rogues need a fast off-hand for Combat Potency.
While 3.2 previews do show new axes coming to the game, these are all from the Argent Tournament, another big raid and higher level than Ulduar.
I really need to know: Will 3.2 address this lack of 1-handed DPS axes for WotLK? Or will we Orc rogues have to stick to swords or fist weapons until we get to Yogg-Saron or the Argent Tournament? And will we have to grab our off-hand axes from the only fast axes in the game- namely tanking axes?
Jul 25th 2009 1:14PM What Blizz did right for the Mage and Warlock cloth armor: the headgear. I LOVE those masks.
Jun 27th 2009 3:38PM I'm definitely looking forward to 3.2 letting my Orc Rogue get axes and thus finally be able to use his racial.
More than that, I just want to see more high-end axes. This axe is lonely- if you look up 1-handed axes on wowhead, you'll find a rather bare selection of them for the high-end scale. Outside arena rewards, the only fast off-hand axe you can pair this with is a Protector axe (Sen'jin or Teldrassil)- and both are tanking axes.
Lastly, the Touch of Madness may be the best axe a rogue can get at the moment, but there are swords, daggers and fist weapons that outclass this in all sorts of stats. Once a raider gets access to those, he'll have no need for this one.
Jun 27th 2009 3:27PM Don't forget "Elementalist" for Hybrid Fire/Frost specs.

Jun 16th 2009 1:18PM I just gotta ask:
What swords are those wielded by the warrior on the right in the picture?
Jun 16th 2009 1:09PM Awesome, awesome video. Good story, amazing animation and editing. Well written, well done.
Jun 6th 2009 12:52PM Just like the author, I hate not filling up a talent if I can. When I plan out my specs, it's either all or nothing, never partially filled.
