Nov 29th 2011 3:19AM People have been waiting and wasking for this for months. This just isnt "Blizzard standtard" it almost seems like they forgot they do patch trailer and 3 days ago some guy in the PR dept starting rushing to find anything he could to scramble to put this together. All it tells you is 'we go get Dragon Soul LULZ U LOSE DEATHWING". there are far more things they could have added, Voice Acting especially. Blizzard has been slipping in the VA area a lot lately I have noticed. at least for their WoW teams. Diablo 3 reportedly has GREAT VA. All in all, this is just totally underwhelming. You can do better than this Blizzard.
Oct 21st 2011 3:09PM Suicide rates amongst adult men ages 18-28 just skyrocketed. Good job Blizzard.
Oct 21st 2011 2:32AM I pretty much agree but I give them all a pass because everyone there is probably HAMMERED by now. I mean come on forgive the guy for being a little flirty and ego'd up by alcohol. Also its part of being a showman, a good host quality. That said, better guest time scheduling should have happened. DS9 guy w/ the kid had no real reason to be there especially comparatively. Also better communication about stream fixing after it went down would have been great. Like I said though, alcohol makes mistakes for you :p
Oct 23rd 2010 3:04PM It was a cool cinematic alone but It's also kind of disappointing because I was mostly looking forward to an official reveal of how the worgen curse is spread. Bites, Scratch, some weird somewhat-Druidic blood ritual or something, just some kind of confirmation on that, the video doesnt really TELL YOU anything you diddnt already know, not much of a "reveal" of anything, just a "here watch this" so while a good standalone cinematic it's also rather disappointing.
Jul 19th 2010 8:20AM Some people might really like this aspect of the game (taking many hours of planning, research and intuitive leadership skills) in being a raid leader, for the simple fact that most people like that tend to have a less than "fulfilling" life outside of the game, and inside of the game it allows them that feeling of importance and necessity that they might not get in real life. Granted it's an outside looking in perspective and one's own self-fulfillment can only be solely based on what you feel your self-worth really is. This is in no way geek-bashing or nerd-stomping or whatever, I wear my nerd badge with pride. lol. Although this is often the case it is by no means ALWAYS the case, as Adam mentioned in the article he had a nice life when he was doing it, but in my opinion it doesnt sound like the kind of "self-fullfilment you can only get in a virtual reality" type of situation like im talking about. Im speaking more about people who used to spend months of planning and perfecting their D&D Dungeon Master scripts/guides/books/etc and what-have-you, back when D&D was the WoW of it's day. Once again though, NOT ALWAYS IS THIS THE CASE.
May 26th 2010 9:31PM Question for the queue: I got hacked. How do I know? I did not have an authenticator. All of a sudden, I do now, and I cant log in. i checked my email and I was notified of 4 failed paid character xfers. i cant get Blizzard on the phone because their amount of calls is too much and outright tells me "cant take your call right now", and email takes a long time to wait for, is there ANY WAY AT ALL to remove the authenticator without talking to Blizzard?
May 14th 2009 10:30AM Well, a LOT of ppl have chosen the corrupted/real ashbringer, so in the spirit of originality im gonna have to choose the Broken I.W.I.N. button dropped in AV, those drops totally make that bg worthwhile :D
Apr 1st 2009 1:44AM While I do agree that the gear difference between 25 and 10 mans should be left alone, good as is, i still think the play experience between the two should be greater, like the difference betweeb regs and heroics are, e.g. extra bosses, or areas in 25 man, which from what i've seen Ulduar is touching on. This way it's almost two completely different experiences between the two, but is still based on the same stuff. Like, in 10 man Sarth vs 25 man Sarth instead of tenebron, vesperon and shadron like 1 man, 25 man has 3 different drakes with different abilities, but still basically the same difficulty as it is now with ilvl213 rewards. not a very good example but it makes sense to me! lol
