Shifting Perspectives: Delving into balance PvP, page 2 {WoW}
Nov 5th 2010 4:27PM The "Page 2" link is broken, as it has yesterday's date in it. The correct link to Page 2 is:

WoW Moviewatch: Honor Killz by A6 {WoW}
Apr 21st 2009 2:09PM Wow, I really liked it, despite not being so into rap.
I had to pause it to read some of the subtitles though - they go by too quick.
Great job to all that were involved.
Curse, WoW Interface band together to block WoWMatrix {WoW}
Apr 14th 2009 10:40AM I understand why they had to do it
Curse and WoW Interface provide a valuable service to the WoW community. There are real costs with providing such a service (especially on patch day!), and their revenue is provided through ads shown on their websites.
By bypassing these website ads, WoWMatrix was using bandwith provided by the add-on hosts, yet not contributing to the cost of hosting said add-ons; effectively stealing bandwidth. Worse, WoWMatrix was displaying their own ads and profiting from those.
I agree that the Curse client for mac sucks... It's absolutely terrible and I've been managing my add-ons manually.
If the developers or WoWMatrix would agree to share some of the ad revenue generated from their client with the add-on hosts, it would be a win-win-win situation. The hosts would get some money to help offset bandwidth costs, the developers of WoWMatrix would be paid for their work, and the mac community would get a great add-on manager.
Extended maintenance for Tuesday April 14th {WoW}
Apr 13th 2009 11:16PM Ok, thanks Cy. I just never use the background downloader, and launched it tonight to just see what would happen.
I knew that they were allowing parts of the patch to be downloaded in the background, but I didn't realize they'd be named the same as the patch.
Extended maintenance for Tuesday April 14th {WoW}
Apr 13th 2009 11:08PM Wow... ignore the post above, I have no idea how it got here, as it was a post I made on another topic last week!
Ok, so what I wanted to post, was that I just launched the Blizzard downloader, and as of right now I am downloading "WoW-3.0.9.9551-to-3.1.0-enUS-patch".

Apr 13th 2009 11:05PM Playing devil's advocate for a second here:
What if 10-man "hard" modes dropped 25-man loot (or better)?
Make all the loot available to everyone, not based on the number of people, but the skill of the players.
25-man gear should not be better than 10-man gear {WoW}
Apr 1st 2009 2:31PM I would love a 5-man "insane" mode.
