Curse Client for Mac v4 reviewed {WoW}

Jan 25th 2010 7:55PM Have to agree on this post. The new Curse Client is much better than v3 was. Finally, a useable interface that isn't WowMatrix and doesn't lock up the processor/internet connection/memory on startup/update/shutdown.

You forgot to mention that the Curse Client can also detect whether (some) or not addons hosted on are also out of date. If they are, then the client prompts you to go to their site and download the updated addon.

It'd be nice if these two sites would finally get their acts together and cooperate.

AddOn Spotlight: EveryQuest {WoW}

Jan 12th 2010 7:33PM I'm curious. For those using quest helping addons, which ones do you use and why? I personally use Carbonite, but I'm thinking it's really eating away at my memory usage and I wouldn't mind something a little more lightweight. Blizzard's new UI may just be the ticket, but I really like having that area highlighted on the minimap.

The Queue: A vote has been initiated to kick your dog {WoW}

Dec 10th 2009 6:48PM Question for the Queue:

I have a shaman character and I tend to use Purge a lot when faced with casters and self-buffers in Pvp. However, one particular "beneficial, magical effect" that I can't seem to purge is the Paladin bubble (pretty sure it's Hand of Protection, but I could be wrong...never really got into using a Paladin). The same goes for my hunter's Tranquilizing Shot. Why is that? Isn't the bubble beneficial and magical?
