Also, where was the mention of idiot hunters who instance with pet on defensive and growl on their pets? It kills me when I see them at lvl 80 still doing that.

Aug 23rd 2009 2:38PM I don't like this at all -it's bad enough when we have to pug in a dps from our OWN server - but people from others? No thanks - we wouldn't know anything about you at all - hard enough to keep track of the ninjas and people not to invite from my home server.
The rewards for leader is a suck idea too - how often do you see anyone let the holy priest lead?
Reward should be for whole group or not at all.

As my parents creep ever upward into their 80's I feel most acutely how time is slipping away for me to be with them and let them know how much I care for them.
Your article touched me deeply and reminded me to cherish ALL the special moments that I can - with family, friends and guildmates.

Jul 25th 2009 2:09PM I remember those days well - I still have my funny looking dice and little painted lead people stashed away in a box somewhere.
Those were the days, huh - when the computer club were people that fiddled around with punch cards , and our DM was someone who had written his own "random dice roll" program for his very primitive portable PC.
Good times, but I do like my WoW now, too : P

Jul 7th 2009 5:11PM I can't believe the amount of seemingly five year old players that are now crying for slimes/hydras/ghost wolves to be taken away.
So many posts on the official forums that basically say nothing but "Wahhhh! I can't have MY special pet so no one else should have theirs!!"

Apr 2nd 2009 2:29PM I played AOC when it first came out - I loved Tortage and I thought that the game was so beautiful looking that I temporarily left WoW for it. That changed after a month or so though - too many problems, patches that introduced too many new problems, and I went back to WoW once more. I've since left WoW for LoTRO, but that's another story.
Conan's world was a beautiful one, it had so much potential, but I wouldn't go back just to be disappointed again. I often say that the best thing I ever got from that game was the soundtrack - that was truly awesome.
