Oct 8th 2009 1:34PM That's why they're testing patch 3.3 and designing cataclysm. You weren't this bored right after WOTLK came out.

Touche. I stand corrected. Often USED as a tag line, it never appeared in Army of Darkness or any legitimate advertising. I guess with so many of the lines included in Duke Nukem the association was drawn without any solid evidence. Thanks for the clarification.
Sep 22nd 2009 12:20PM Actually, both are correct. FifthDream is referencing Bruce Campbell and madeupfile is referencing Duke Nukem, who was in his own right misquoting Bruce Campbell.
HAIL TO THE KING, BABY!
Sep 17th 2009 3:40PM Thank you, errornl! That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Rather than spouting useless, ego-building numbers you provided insightful and useful advice. THAT is what a rogue focused blog should contain. We all want to be better rogues, at least that's why I read this column. I want to know the fights before I enter the raid/dungeon and do the most DPS to the boss and the LEAST damage to my raid.
In what are often small guild runs (mostly 10 man with some pugs as finding a 25 man for anything other than VoA can eat up a good bit of time) and particularly heroics i find that I am often the only rogue or one of two that have not raided together before and ToT on each other is something I had really seriously considered (though I have always been jealous of the tank's extra 15%, while happy my beef-jerky covered toon wasn't absorbing those hits).
I'll have to try hear kitty and Jim J's. Using my cooldowns as often as possible has been a mental hurdle. I only recently uncovered that tidbit of wisdom and forced myself to do it, but it has certainly made a difference. Thanks again for your advice!
Sep 17th 2009 9:09AM Well, Jack, you're just uber-L33t. With fleshshaper and namlak's, why do you give a name so we can armory or shed some light on your rotations so we can all benefit from your l33tness. Or is your ego as fragile as SamLowry's rogue such that the AOE effect of several other rogues increasing their DPS would be too much for you to bear?
Sep 4th 2009 4:40PM Linux isn't an authorized WoW system platform anyway. So being denied the right to play if perfectly acceptable in that you are trying to play the game on an unsupported platform. The box makes no mention of Linux in the system requirements. Sorry, out of luck.
(Quoting http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/faq/technology.html )
What are the system requirements for World of Warcraft?
PC System Requirements
OS: Windows XP / Windows Vista (with latest Service Packs)
That's it, no Linux. I really like Linux myself, but you can't say WoW denied you the use of a paid product when you are trying to use it on a machine they did not intent it to run on.
Aug 7th 2009 11:33AM Good to know it will be that much easier for you to kill other players based on item level alone. How good that must make you feel that you have earned the right to be twice as powerful than other players because you spend every waking moment of your life in Azeroth. The next time your mom brings milk and cookies down to the basement for you while you're raiding for the 11th straight hour, tell her I said hi.
May 13th 2009 3:50PM starsfan,
I agree, higher armor should mean less damage output. That's always been my problem with the rogue:
Leather armor, no self heal, no real range (since they nerfed the silence of Deadly Throw) . Still, rogues are fun and while I hate that EVERYONE has stuns now (that was OUR specialty), I love the fact that Mutilate is a vial spec now and we can do more than spam sinister strike or hemo now. And THAT'S why I play a pure DPS class (even if the DPS isn't much better than hybrids). I still have a good time, and that's why I pay $15.00 per month for my level 80 Troll Rogue main (and my level 59 DK).

Simpsons Quote FTW!
But as you know, even our new bear overlords are no match for the real hero, the inanimate carbon rod.
