Sep 3rd 2009 9:32AM On my server Relics of Ulduar are so cheap on the AH that grinding the rep actually costs more than just buying the Relics.
Sep 2nd 2009 2:26PM WoW rewards skill with gear, so a player with skill will have gear to match in a short amount of time. So I'm guessing a large majority of those who proudly proclaiming that skill is greater than gear actually have neither.
Jul 30th 2009 2:57PM If we ordered multiple tickets weren't we supposed to get an email for each ticket? I've only received one email so far.
May 15th 2009 8:48PM Never tried Healbot, simply because Grid does everything I can think of that I need.
I inverted the colors and made the boxes bigger, horizontal and colored by class.
Frame goes red if they have aggro.
Alpha goes light if they are out of range.
Bottom text shows me the amount of other healers incoming heals.
Upper left corner is a colored (green->yellow-red) dot to tell me when my Lifebloom is running out.
Bottom left corner is a colored dot to tell me how many Lifeblooms I have on the target.
Upper right corner is a colored dot for Rejuv.
Bottom right corner is a colored dot for Regrowth.
The appropriate icon comes on the target if they have a curse or a poison (which I can get rid of).
I've also added KT Frost Blast as an icon that appears so I know instantly who to heal.
All of this is, of course, with mouseover macros. So I don't ever have to click my mouse. Just move the mouse over a player's Grid box, hit the appropriate hotkey, move on to the next.
If Healbot can do all of this and give me more then I might consider giving it a whirl.
Apr 9th 2009 4:38PM Did you check out his EQ characters as well? Or the website (www.38studios.com) for his company that is working on developing their own MMO?
Disagree with him all you want, but the man is a gamer and knows MMOs inside and out and from perspectives most of us will never see.
Apr 9th 2009 3:49PM I did notice that, which is why I used phrases like "fact checking" and "second hand account."
I think the WoW Inisder folks could have easily verified whether or not anyone on The Instance made statements like the reader claims. Instead they appear to have simply published the reader's interpretation to tens of thousands of people unchecked.
Apr 9th 2009 3:20PM Whoa...you need some better fact checking.
On the Instance, Scott speculated (not stated) that Blizzard might have some really big ideas they hadn't put into WoW yet, and that it would be likely they move some or most of them to the next gen MMO they are developing. But in no way did he or Kurt (sic) say that "WoW was done for."
You better check your sources before you publish a second hand account.
