Cataclysm raid progression refinements {WoW}

Apr 27th 2010 12:00PM This seems a good setup for hard modes, and I don't see why raiding guilds are throwing a fit. Most heroic content demands that you have every raider standing right up to the end, but how many times have you guys lost a raider due to a dc in 25man Togc. The lower latency and higher frame rate that goes with 10man content should make pushing through the new heroic content easier. I admit that I am biased in this since I live in the boondocks with an iffy connection anytime it rains or snows, but I know I was not the only one who fell victim to the Gormok fire dc. They are giving more gear to 25man content and so any serious raiding guild will still fill out it's 25man roster and choose that route for most raid nights since it will gear their players more quickly. All and all it just seems blizzard is giving players more options, and let's face it more options are never a bad thing.

WoW launcher and downloader causing validation errors [Updated] {WoW}

Nov 9th 2009 9:55PM It is a damn good thing that no other game out there compares to WoW, otherwise, Blizz would be out of business. I am unaware of any company that has as poor of an excuse of customer service as them. Tech support is joke with advice such as "restart your computer, try restarting wow ect". We are gamers, we obviously are familiar with computers, now tell me something that my 86 year old grandmother who has never touched a computer could not think of to suggest. I love wow, but when the day comes , and it will, when another game of equal quality and appeal comes out and puts blizzard out of business I will have to buy a bottle of Jack to celebrate.

World first of "Alone in the Darkness" a possible exploit {WoW}

Jun 30th 2009 9:45AM I do not keep up with this crap, but due to boredom and server maintence I caught up on it via this site and the forums. I have to agree that it is funny that Ensidia used several exploits in the past, but when someone else does it they report. Not to mention saying theirs were diffrent. I guess all the other guilds will have to start reporting Ensidia in return. It will be interesting to watch how the 72 hour bans effect their progress. Seriously though Ensidia = 10 year olds trapped in adult bodies apparently.

How to decide who's getting Val'anyr {WoW}

Apr 13th 2009 11:49AM " It does seem as if Paladins and Discipline Priests are the classes/specs most suited to Val'anyr's shield proc." Quote from original text

Since all healers are getting their mana regeneration nerfed, the cost of lifebloom is being increased, and other changes in druid healing druids are going to be forced to use responsive healing such as nourish and healing touch. This will offset the current trend where all druid healers do is keep hots rolling since they will be oom very quickly otherwise, thus druids would benifit just as much proc wise from the mace. I understand that priests have much larger heals, and so it might be benificial to allow them first grab in a system that is strictly based on who will benifit most, but nourish and healing touch are equal to the size of all the other classes heals. It seems that more thought will have to go into this before a system is devised that is fair for all healers. I would suggest only allowing those that have been with your guild for awhile and attended raids reguarly to get first grabs. The roll method mentioned would work fine just have those that qualify /roll, and high roller gets first grabs after they have theirs /roll again.
