Dec 31st 2011 5:27PM Oooo... Want!
Dec 23rd 2011 12:57PM I admit, I've gotten spoiled and wish I could just queue for the Greench just like any holiday boss (I have 6 other alts to fly up there XP). And I came up the perfect dungeon as well; how about Old Hillsbrad? It's the same general area...
And this year, I've had horrible luck the holiday bosses on my main: ran Ahune every day for a Frigid Frostling (and pet #150, at the time)... No luck. Ran the Horseman every day for the mount (the only rare one I really want)... Nada. :/
So not getting my hopes up for a Lump of Coal in my stocking this year... (I've been bad! Really!)
Dec 20th 2011 11:45AM I have 116 mounts, 156 pets, and over 10,000 achievement points on my mage. I've also saved various Tier sets on him, all the way back from Vanilla WoW. And I have a bad habit of keeping tons of random bits of armour and weapons, even on my alts...
As of late, my big collecting spree has been on my hunter: she's Beast Mastery specced, so she's been hunting down every shiny rare pet she can fit into her stable (I have way too many Spirit Beasts now :P). My original lvl 80 hunter has gotten into the act too, and managed to snag all 3 of the rare beasts in Sholozar (which I haven't even done on my max level hunter, LOL).

Heh, I suppose I should've been more clear... As a female char, you're supposed to be the love interest/token chick to Harrison; as a male char, you're more of a sidekick (the dialogue differs slightly depending on your gender).
Dec 12th 2011 6:25PM I also loved the Harrison Jones questline myself, much more than the Tol'vir one. Although the first time I did the quests on my male toon, I did wonder, "Why is my character cowering all the time?" Then I did them on a female toon, and realized I was supposed to be like the love interest in an Indy movie. (And I'm the type who usually takes offense to that sort of thing; instead, I just found that amusing.)
Dec 6th 2011 10:28AM I have 90 tickets right now, which is enough for a pet. And you can get 150 tickets per faire week... But it does requires turning in a lot of Darkmoon artifacts, which drop from dungeons, battlegrounds, and raids (as long as you have the Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide).
Luckily, you can farm low-level dungeons for 4 of the artifacts to turn in (just look up the achievement "Darkmoon Dungeoneer" on Wowhead for a list of drops.)
Nov 17th 2011 6:47PM @Skarn One better than me - I'm at 154. (I refuse to buy a Cockroach. *shudder*)
Oct 20th 2011 6:03PM Allison, I feel your pain about the Emerald Whelpling... I just got it a week ago after farming it periodically over several years; after looting it, I spent about a minute staring at my bag in disbelief. ;P (Ironically, it was pet #152 for me; I had just got the 150 achievement.)
Now to farm for the Hyacinth Macaw... Yeah, I'm a glutton for punishment. (But it's just so pretty!)
Sep 30th 2011 9:58AM It's nice to hear that some other people have trouble getting the whelpling pets to drop (so we can commiserate together).
My personal bane is the Tiny Emerald Whelpling. A few years back, I made a point of trying to farm one of each colour, but this one still eludes me. Every now and again, I'll make an attempt to farm it for a few hours, but I tend to get fed up after a while. (And what kills me is that I managed to farm up the Firefly way before this one, and that's supposed to be even harder to get.)
