Scattered Shots: Moar boars -- Stampede Q&Q {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2012 5:11PM OH, I can see the QQ in Arenas and BGs already. Paired with a Shaman, this might just be unstoppable lol. Oh, and you only HOPE that BM doesnt affect this ability; 1 big red Kitty is enough, but 5 of them makes one want to curl up in a corner.

Spiritual Guidance: Monk healing vs. priest healing in Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2012 5:19AM Blizzard used some of my idea for a new class! I posted this on wow.com years ago. See if you can find the similarities between Monk heals, and my new class creation.

I had an idea about a new class. Might not fit into lore, but I think it is about time we get another plate healing class. I also think its about time we get some ranged plate DPS. My class would be a hybrid of a druid and hunter. The class would focus more on the synergy between the player and his companion. In my opinion, as a hunter you either are BM, where the focus is just on your pet and you do nothing, or you are Surv/MM and well your pet means almost nothing. I want to have a class where the pet is not a pet, but more of a companion that actually adds to the raid instead of just being there. That said, the class would focus on using the magical light energies to either heal or attack. The the trees 52 talent point would be something like this

1st tree- end talent would allow the owner and his/her companion to conjoin where the owner would benefit from his or her companion depending on what companion they have. For exm, if joined with a turtle they might gain exta stam and armor, or if joined with a wolf they might gain extra ap and a dmg bonus. or if joined with a bird they would gain the ability of flight, as well as more agility. In the works but hope you get the basic concept.

2nd tree- would focus on players magical abilities. The 51st ability would enable the player to unleash a devastating light ability between the companion and the player. Again the companion is going to play an important role in all three of the talent trees. This is a rather new idea, and very loose in terms of what I want to do with it.

3rd tree- This tree would focus on using the light energy to heal. the 51st ability of this tree would allow the player to become great partners with light beast. Light beast would all have different healing/buff abilities that would expand the abilities of the player in a different way. It almost resembles the first tree, but this one enables to to "tame" light beast. in a raid these beast would be able to be assigned to heal a certain target or multiple targets depending on the beast. (HOLY Nova type abilities, or chain heal type abilities)

To add to it, the way to get this class would be either A- already have a hunter and when making the "light hunter", just a prototype name, your hunter goes back to whomever they learned to be a hunter for and is told a story which unlocks the light inside of the player thus making them a light hunter. or B having at lease 2 80s. I am not sure about the 2nd option, but the first option would have to have a hunter that is at lease level 30.

Blue Posts: New WoW comic strip, I remember when, "DK" {WoW}

Mar 20th 2012 9:45PM I remember when Dks were actually true DKs. You could tank/dps in any spec. All the specs were damn good DPS. Your "stances" was applied to the entire raid, and the stances stacked as long as they were not the same stances (Blood Presence, Frost, Unholy).

You could raise your ally to fight by your side as a ghoul. Howling blast was a 2 tier move and back in the 70+ talent point days you could get howling blast (which hit a lot harder than it does today), and rune tap, or run around with a ghoul, and have many of the blood talents.

I remember when Dks (they can still do this today, but it is much more difficult), could run an entire instance by themselves, and have the most healing, the most damage, and the most damage taken done. I remember when op Dks were actually OP, and not the (Im a bad player, so Dks must be op since they beat me).

Mists of Pandaria: Battlegrounds preview {WoW}

Mar 19th 2012 4:18AM Fuck yes...excuse my language, but these sound nice. I only hope they add an option to choose from random, but a select random so I can isolate Ise of conquest and the other 40 man ones..But dammit, yes.

Breakfast Topic: What's the most killed boss in the game? {WoW}

Mar 11th 2012 8:35AM The guy when WIntergrasp first became available. Torvon the Ice watcher or something like that.

What are multiboxers and how do you fight one in PvP? {WoW}

Mar 1st 2012 3:02PM At low levels, best thing is to just run away from them.

3 things Battlegrounds should borrow from SW:TOR's Warzones {WoW}

Feb 22nd 2012 11:50PM I just wish Battlegrounds were set up like COD where there was live talk so I could communicate with my team without having to type...and be able to talk smack when I 1 shot someone lol. I swear, if there was a kill cam in World of warcraft, the game would be 100% better. What better way than to crush a player's soul than to force them to watch their own demise

The Queue: I write about elves on Usenet, Mom {WoW}

Feb 14th 2012 5:51PM They should honor the old gen systems by doing a raid that requires players to hone those old skills throughout various zones.

So maybe go from a simple dot game similar to pong, then to a side scroller, and so on. Even put in some classic turned based game play that interacts with all the members of the raid, but offers a new twist.

Wouldnt it be cool to be able to have a 25 man raid boss, but have it use side scrolling mechanics, and even place the players in a side scrolling world for the fight. I dont know how they would implement it, but i think a different type of mechanic to the fights would be nice. The whole, do not stand in stuff, and watch out for stuff is getting old. So is tank swapping. Best mechanic (new) has been the fight in WOTLK where the fight was based on heals. I just want a fight that is based on side scrolling, or something like Zelda where you are looking down on your character on an 8 bit plane.

What I want to see from Mists of Pandaria PvP {WoW}

Feb 14th 2012 3:28AM No idea on what they should do with PVP, but as far as PVE goes I have an idea.

The Queue: Let's guess the Mists of Pandaria release date {WoW}

Oct 25th 2011 12:47PM Um, new X-Pacs ALWAYS come out about the same time College starts, so Sept is the month it will be released. Guarantee it.
