Oct 24th 2009 6:39PM Unless resilience is changed as well, Sharicasmi (and the rest of the shaman tanking community, myself included) can keep on tanking. We don't become crit-immune through defense, we do it through resilience. (And to be quite honest, I'm quite surprised Righteous Defense didn't see that.) High amounts of stamina, agility, offensive stats, and to a lesser extent resilience, is necessary for a tanking shaman. I use the fist weapon from FL+4 on 25man (Golden Saronite Dragon) with mongoose and a stamina gem for my tanking weapon, as offensive stats are extremely important for threat. Also, I don't spec into Spirit Weapons because -30% threat just doesn't work. Having a rogue and/or hunter Misdirecting is a plus. We rely on cooldowns, the main ones being Shamanistic Rage and Stoneclaw Totem (glyphed, of course, for the ~4k damage shield)
Anyway, I'm glad Totem Talk discussed this!

Oct 24th 2009 8:51AM I'm looking forward to dethroning the Lich King (finally). There were so many brick walls in Ulduar (pre-nerf Razorscale, anyone?) that I feel stopped a lot of guilds from rolling through the instance the first week, and I really enjoyed that. I hope Icecrown Citadel will do the same.
I'm also liking the sped-up reputation grinds, as my DK needs Sons of Hodir rep pretty badly right now. I picked up inscription on my main so I wouldn't have to grind SoH rep. Ironic, eh?
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this patch, and here's to hoping for a 3.4 out of the blue.
Oct 24th 2009 8:25AM I am rolling on this as an enhancement shaman. Flame on.
Oct 8th 2009 8:20PM War Stomp because Tauren are that awesome.
Aug 30th 2009 8:56AM This.
From an enhancement perspective, Ripsaw would be a cool thing to remake. I lusted over it when I was a newbie, but never got it. :(

Yeah, maybe an "Armored to the Teeth"-style Mastery talent (for all classes)? That would be cool. I would still love to have someone at Blizzard answer this question, as I don't like the fact that now that warriors aren't rolling on mail, we're going to have to compete with rogues even more (don't forget the rogue axes...)
Aug 22nd 2009 5:33PM What will stop Hunters/Enhancement Shaman from taking rogue/feral drood leather?
Now that hunters don't use intellect (and neither will enhancement shaman, presumably) there seems to be nothing stopping us from taking leather gear.
Jul 27th 2009 9:38PM Wow, way to completely miss the point.
"[remove] the need for hunters to rely on a different resource system then mana."
The person said they wanted to remove the resource system that wasn't mana, i.e. ammo.
