Sep 8th 2009 5:40AM I am going to Amsterdam this weekend as I live near. How many others are going?
I don't play the TCG so I hope it'll be a bit of fun for a WoW-girl without cards too. Otherwise I'll just go visit my family :)
Jul 15th 2009 4:30AM So far, I have only let my kids (5, 4, 1) fish (and only for a very small amount of time) because I rather have them play outside with their friends. But when it's a rainy day, I guess I could make them a character of their own as well...
My son LOVES dwarves, they are cool he says. My daughter loves gnomes, 'small kids' according to her. I've never really thought of having them level a character of their own because indeed, they tend to run off cliffs, sometimes even on purpose because "I like that white angel that shows up after I run off the cliff so much".
You certainly got some valid points to having your kids play (monitored).
Jul 12th 2009 5:26AM Could someone please tell me how many Jewelcrafting Tokens the new designs cost?
Jul 8th 2009 1:27PM I want to have you in my game layout as well. Just a little video window and a live stream Turpster. Oh, come on, please?
"And then she just said: "No. I'd be too big". " - Still laughing over that.
Jul 4th 2009 2:35PM It gives some stuff to think over, how will you roleplay a faction change? Human -> Undead will be pretty easy, but the rest would take strange and painful shamanistic rituals I guess.
Jul 4th 2009 11:22AM I never said the book was good, but it does hold the foremost facts one should know about the Well.
Dana, fact that you are a post BC player that gets to see the most out of the old world doesn't mean that all do, I'd say the opposite. There should be a line drawn somewhere.
Jul 3rd 2009 3:50PM Oooooh the excitement!
Anyone who is interested in the lore around the Sundering should really read the Well of Eternity Trilogy and learn about the Well of Eternity, the coming of the Burning Legion, and the destruction of the Well.
But, that said, the old world should not be destroyed at all, it would mean the loss of a lot of lore specific quests and area's, I'd hate that.
Starting at a higher level is a good idea, though. But then only for the people who have played pre-BC, so they know their way around the old world already.
Jul 3rd 2009 2:07PM Just because there are people with a Real Life (it's probably in the dictionary would you be confused here), does that mean they cannot get the fullest out of the game they pay as much for as you do each month?
At least, when I signed up for this game, it did not say in the conditions anywhere I had to put at least five hours a day in playing it to get anywhere.
You chose to spend your time/life on that gear, it doesn't mean others can't have it just because they can/choose to spend less time on it. Quite a selfish comment.
Raiders seem to feel superior over casual players (been like that since I started playing 4 years ago), while actually, I feel soooo much superior for having friends, kids, a home, a life :) AND THE SAME GEAR!
Jul 2nd 2009 1:58AM Very well, I was kind of scared by the reputation and mount part, because my former main on Alliance side has nearly everything possible to exalted and has amongst others the Winterspring Frostsaber.
But it looks like they will turn the Winterspring Frostsaber into the Horde equivalent (the Ravasaur from Ungoro) and turn the factions into the Horde equivalents of those.
That means I will transfer my former main to my other characters and guild, because the mount and rep was the ony thing that was holding me back.
Jul 1st 2009 7:14AM Turp, you are sooooo cute, I want to put you in a glass tank and look at you all day.
