Jan 22nd 2010 5:20AM Apparantly that isn't a foolproof manner as well, as Fairlane above you describes how he's being hacked while using an authenticator.
I also think that is the jist of what some people are saying here. Do not simply rely on your authenticor and assume everything will be fine. It's always a battle between those who try to break into a computer and those who try to protect it.
Authenticators might work rather well at this point, but there will come a moment that someone finds a way to go around them.
So, besides the authenticator, people should be aware of other protection devices to avoid getting keylogged, etc.
Also, on a side note, is being hacked not something entirely different than let's say, being keylogged? With a hacking attempt, someone will make a delibarate attack against a specific computer or system, while getting keylogged is simply a matter of downloading something on your own computer?
Jan 21st 2010 8:54AM I wonder why a post of mine was deleted and the one above me? There was no name-calling in it, I tried to voice my concern and now it's suddenly gone? I guess that's one way to avoid any discussion about it: not allowing other people (in this case two first time posters) to even enter the discussion. That way you can easily sustain that only a small minority wants the drama section back.
I'll try to voice my concern again in another form, maybe that will work better: As I tried to explain in my previous comment I'm wondering why the writers of WoW.com all of a sudden changed their mind about their own column. I'm especially dumbfounded by the way people are treated who ask for the drama section to return. We did not invent the drama section, we just enjoyed it and want it back. And now all of a sudden we're treated like we are the worst scum of the universe for even admitting to like that section.
