its very daunting and intimidating for new players to enter a first raid. I don't know personally if the person your referring about was new or not but speaking from experience as a new player who entered his first nax possibly 2 months ago as an offtank for my mate, despite looking over my shoulder every boss I was very timid and kept aplogising for any mistake even the ones not made by me.
At the end of the day you pass the first raid get into the grove its easy as pie you get the confidence and the know how through running it.
Now I am in full tier 7.5 raiding in ulduar 10 as a tank in my friends guild, so heres one tip for anyone new to raiding, knowing people is just as important as the tactics just like in real life.
Good example is where you see full tier 8 people doing crap and you wonder why; its not what you know its who you know. So make sure your in nax 10 raids, heroics making friends getting confidence people do remember you. (especially if your role is sought after)
Jun 14th 2009 6:09PM I come from a reccommended PvP server in EU I started around november. Since DKs were first created in WoTLK was a gankfest. Nowadays its simmered back to normal. Typically only one or two nubs gank low levels. The rest of the time it makes for interesting fun @ the summoning stones. :)
Also a tip if you don't want to be ganked...check out a pvp servers Horde to Alliance ratio find one way out of whack and pick that server and roll that faction. :) You'll surely be the ganker not gankee there.

"Unforseeable Happens, Stealth Dectection Nerfed"
