Officers' Quarters: Account sharing + officer = bad {WoW}

Apr 15th 2009 8:11AM To be honest, it's kinda funny to see everyone so heated up over a game... but then we all would've placed our RL social lives at risk with raising our wow accounts.

In cases where people ninja things - you can't deny that it may well be the person you trust in the first place doing the ninja. it doesn't always have to be a "friend/bf/gf/spouse/etc" So you can't always lay the blame of the others who share an account. (Seriously, some people are dodgy in the first place - you get that everywhere)

We had a few ninjas in the guild and usually they are dealt with asap (i.e. kicked) and some of them were hacked, possibly due to key loggers. So we can't say dodgy characters are only due to account sharing.

Maybe if you don't want your hard-earned things stolen, don't put them in guild bank in the first place? Or just check the guild policies to see how much each person is allowed to take out at what rank etc. (Just an idea instead of diminishing your chances of joining a gd guild)

But then, I think the best solution is to start your own guild, and then at least you can control everything yourself - the best solution to all those out there who are paranoid of account sharers!
