Dec 23rd 2009 4:42PM That "Player not found" thing must be related to some sort of bug. Every time I hop into a pug (which is quite often lately on my resto shaman as I'm SO SO close to getting the pet), I see three or four instant alerts about "Player so and so is not found", even though they're in my party standing right in front of me.
I figure it will be fixed soon.
Dec 17th 2009 6:55PM I think Avrielle means will there be new 1-60 dungeons ADDED with Cataclysm? Just to introduce some new flavor for leveling up new characters.

Dec 17th 2009 6:02PM No worries, they're just further promoting World of Warcraft by imitating "scheduled maintenance." Someone just needs to clue them in that they're supposed to do that on Tuesdays, not Thursdays.
Dec 10th 2009 3:07PM When you log on like normal, you get a second smaller prompt that asks for the authenticator number. It's an 8-digit number. Takes about 2 seconds. I hammer it in with the numpad and hit enter and I'm on my way.
Apr 30th 2009 10:31AM So... I get that using the Curse Client we're leeching bandwidth and they get nothing to show for it. That's fine. I get that.
And I get that the Curse guy(s) are trying to offer something cool that we all like and trying to make their time worth money. I get that.
But we're asked to pay $5/month or $30/year to people who aren't even making the mods we're using. This is like what Ebaumsworld did to internet funnies.
I know it doesn't solve the Curse bandwidth issue to do so, but I'd pay the $30/year if at least 90% of that payment was distributed directly to the authors of the addons I have installed.
But... remind me again why the client can't just have a banner ad at the bottom? Wouldn't that be an easy way to solve the issue? A single banner ad wouldn't really affect our own personal bandwidth enough for it to be a hassle, and as long as it was done in a non-spyware-ish way, I think it could solve all of these issues. Right? A single banner ad is easy enough for us to ignore on a client we're not really viewing constantly, and if it changed to a new ad every.. I don't know... 20 minutes, I'm certain Curse could maintain their ad revenues. Right?
So.. just put a banner ad on the client. We can suck that up. That's fine. Problem fixed.
Apr 15th 2009 10:03AM I logged into my bank alt (level 1 Tauren Warrior) who is now *wearing* blue level 78 boe Mail bracers (they were in his mailbox originally, being returned from the auction house). Somehow. None of the stats seem to be applying to him, except for the fact he's at 50% crit. Sounds like time for a supertwink!
