Win a pony from {WoW}

Apr 15th 2010 5:14PM I often wonder if everyone who posts on these contests believes if they have the wittiest post, they will actually win. Here's to luck, cause I have no wit...

Potential character model revisions in Cataclysm {WoW}

Nov 24th 2009 3:15PM AMEN Sacco!

WoW Moviewatch: The Story {WoW}

Nov 12th 2009 2:01PM As always, very well done, Cranius. Some of the cinematography is just awesome. Cool colors, very nice moments caught between the characters. That's tough to do when you're working with the default movements from the game. I look forward to hearing more original music from you man. But this cover is well done!

World of WarCrafts: The Tale of Pally Pete {WoW}

Nov 11th 2009 2:14PM Here are the complete lyrics:

As the sun sets over Goldshire
and the howl of the wolf pierces the night
A tall dark shadow falls upon the dusty ground
choking out what's left of daylight

The folks are always talkin 'bout a stranger
A stranger that no one could e're defeat
Could it be this little town in Elwyn Forest
Was about to meet the man they call Pally Pete

(Pally Pete)
He fought ten Horde and then ten more and never broke a sweat
He don't need mana, wears a red bandana, got a shiny tier 9 set
Never will you meet a man so fearless, brave and leet
Stay away from Pally Pete

As the dust settles underneath his feet
He darkens the old Lion's Pride Inn door
Adventurers from every land both far and wide
Turn to see this famous man of lore

And from the crowd a snicker from the silence
Then laughter followed and it grew and grew
You see this legendary man of lore
Well he stood no more than 3 foot 2

(Tiny Pete)
Well Pete walked in and sat right down and ordered him a stout
Then Night Elf Ned said "Let's go duel, I'll win without a doubt"
(Accept defeat)
Pete just smiled and said to Ned "I'll meet you in the street"
What's up the sleeve of Pally Pete

Well they walked out to the street and took ten paces
And Ned was making jest at ole' Pete's height
When all the sudden Pete revealed his two-hand mace
and cast upon himself Blessing of Might
(Now it's a fight!)

The rest I can't explain cause it's just too gruesome to tell
Let's just say that Dwarves don't take to height jokes all that well
(He's just petite)
Pete regained respect from all the folks that he did meet
And that's the tale of Pally Pete

Enter to win a Creative World of Warcraft wireless headset {WoW}

Sep 24th 2009 10:40AM My headset blows chunks. I NEED this bad boy!

Breakfast Topic: So you're not going to BlizzCon {WoW}

Aug 21st 2009 8:38AM I would LOVE to go, but half way across the country. I might buy the stream, but that's $40 I can't really justify right now. I kind of feel like the only way to experience it is to be there. Maybe next year. Although I did enter the original song contest, and evidently they're waiting to announce the winners until the actual event, so it would be cool to actually see it live if I win. Yea, like that's gonna happen...

Breakfast Topic: Do you wish we didn't have to use AddOns? {WoW}

Jul 7th 2009 11:30AM I don't think Blizz would ever get rid of add-ons. That's part of the game they created. I am definitely behind them writing good add-ons, but there are a lot of add-ons available that are better than some of Blizz's. The recent outfitter add-on was a major disappointment, as I was already using Outfitter, which is MUCH more versatile and intuitive. The real issue here becomes updating the addons. What I would like to see is an approval system from Blizz for add-ons, and an auto-updater FROM Blizz so when a new patch is applied, all your add-ons are automatically updated. That would be great!!

WoW Moviewatch: Breaking {WoW}

Apr 16th 2009 2:06PM A++ There is so much crap Machinima out there. Refreshing to see someone that knows what they're doing. Use of color, shaking lens and lighting effects really pull you in. Helps convey the pain in the song. Very well done!!
