Breakfast Topic: Abuse of the "Report player AFK" feature {WoW}

Dec 1st 2009 2:24PM Thanks ecwfrk!

I didn't even notice it hasn't been updated for almost a year. It is still working fine for me, but of course the sensitivity of such an addon could be spoiled in a patch.

Breakfast Topic: Abuse of the "Report player AFK" feature {WoW}

Dec 1st 2009 8:21AM I use the addon CattleProd. It doesn't seem to be too harsh because it takes into consideration of positioning and activity.

I never had or seen the issue you speak of - if anything, people don't get marked AFK fast enough.

Windows 7 bested by XP in netbook battery life tests {Engadget}

Nov 12th 2009 9:28AM Searching "aero" in the first two articles returns nothing, and in the third article they identify that they left it on.
This is like comparing the fuel consumption of an idling car to a car driving at city speed. If you are really looking for battery life, a semi-intelligent person would turn Aero off. Now I'm questioning if they even used the same power level configuration. (CPU speed, screen brightness, stop the hard drive after 5 minutes of inactivity, etc.)

MacBook strips off its polycarbonate unibody shell for the expected teardown {Engadget}

Oct 21st 2009 10:39AM *thumbs down* @ battery

Is the thumbs up for the battery? So what are the advantages of a Lithium-Ion Polymer batter: Thinner, lighter...

Disadvantages: More dangerous, way less life cycles then regular lithium-ion, not removable, not replaceable (possibly), it has no casing and it will definitely discharge faster from the heat generated in the case.

This MacBook is badass, but my beef is that lithium-ion polymer can't compete with regular lithium-ion yet.

Sanyo Eneloop batteries good for 1,500 recharges, maintain 70% charge even after 3 years in storage {Engadget}

Oct 6th 2009 10:26AM Been out for few years now, nothing really special except they claim you get 1500 than the average 1000.

I'm not sure what happened to Uniross which made a similar battery called Hybrio, but I know they were supplied by the North American Battery Company, which seem to have their own version now called Ultralast Green.

Apr 20th 2009 1:18PM Thanks for the reply Josh.

He has model 8220 and I think this is meant for 83xx+. So it's not showing up in order to apply the theme. I guess he's SOL.
