Mar 30th 2010 1:54PM My revisions to your list:
Mage: Medivh (or perhaps Khadgar)
Warrior: Grom Hellscream
@kingsstud24: Sylvanas is a Dark Ranger (black arrow from the survival tree came from her class in Warcraft III)
Mar 30th 2010 1:46PM It's only beneficial for mage-mage if you both focus magic each other. This will give you both a near constant 6% crit. With odd numbered mages, you can do a triangle sort of rotation. If it's just you, and there's a good caster dps or healer that crits a lot, go for them. You can put it on any class and it'll benefit you, but the crit bonus for them only affects spells, so pure physical melee don't get anything good from it (DK's and enhance shamans are about 50/50 for spell/physical balance so it does benefit them somewhat).
Also, on healer-centric fights such as Dreamwalker, put that thing on a holy pally or good healer and they'll love you for it.
Hope this helps!
Sep 14th 2009 6:54PM The "pvp trinket" issue is probably the glyph of Icy Veins, which is invaluable for pvp.
The rapid pet thing would be Cold Snap, basically a reset button for all frost spells on CD, including Water Elemental.
And yes, I play a mage.
Sep 6th 2009 10:39PM Dear Mr. Belt,
I love you.
Sep 5th 2009 5:14PM Props to Daniel Whitcomb for liking female orcs. I knew I wasn't the only one out there!
Aug 23rd 2009 8:22AM GOBLINS!
Aug 13th 2009 5:38PM Spellpower, unlike attack power, is more of a pool of damage you draw from for your different spells. Every spell has a different coefficient (how much it draws from the pool) that is related to its cast time and function. i.e Fireball uses more spellpower damage than Frostbolt because it has a longer base cast time (and Frost has a snare), so it hits much harder. Instant cast spells generally use much less spellpower than ones with cast times.
While attack power is pretty static in its contribution and the melee special attacks generally use a percentage of weapon damage (which is modified by AP), spellpower = weapon damage (and not AP) in that the different spells use percentages of it for their damage.
Aug 13th 2009 8:58AM Same as Adam, but replacing Deadmines with Shadowfang Keep, which was MY first instance :)
Still my favorite instance, btw.
Aug 12th 2009 4:44PM The USS Boomkin spaceship is actually a level from Unreal Tournament 2004. Hyperblast :)
Seen it before, and watched it again. Good stuff.
