Jun 14th 2009 11:15AM Amplify Magic and Dampen Magic should be debuffs we cast on targets. Amplify would increase the spell damage the target takes and Dampen would reduce the healing they get. If Blizz did that, Mages would actually have a chance in PVP and more utility in PVE. Make the talents for the debuffs a greater chance to resist dispelling and you have a great way to buff mages without making them OP. But that makes too much sense, so Blizz will never do it.
May 10th 2009 12:03PM Using fireball as your main spell in PVP is epic fail. Use scorch, it is harder to counterspell/interupt and increases your chance of procing instant pyroblasts and impact. It also allows you to cast without a trail pointing straight back to your position. I can't tell you the number of times I have killed someone without them knowing where i was until it was too late. A properly played fire mage is a force to reckoned with, especially in WSG, my mage is one of the greatest flag runners in history. Mana Shield, Blink, Blazing Speed, and Frost Nova are an unbeatable combo. I have been able to get over half way across the map before the defenders can even get out of the tunnel. People are just amazed to see me 3 cap a WSG in record time.
Apr 19th 2009 12:20PM The funniest thing I ever saw was a guild named "Salad". They had guys named Caesar, Ranch, Potato, Tuna, etc. But the best one was the guild leader named Tossed.
