Breakfast Topic: I don't like the word 'toon' {WoW}

Mar 30th 2012 9:09AM My squad of adventurers are my characters. The denizens of Toontown are toons.

5 stupid-awesome uses for a Potion of Illusion {WoW}

Mar 28th 2012 1:53PM It also used to persist through Druid Shapeshifts, but they "fixed" that a while back. I was a blood elf swimming through the air while in Flight Form one night, it was hilarious.

Mar 13th 2012 3:59PM I'm always amazed at the awesome things Blizzard's artists can do within the limitations of their aging engine without boosting the system requirements sky-high. There's a lot to be said about art direction and style making up for lacking technical capabilities.

Official Scroll of Resurrection revamp details {WoW}

Mar 7th 2012 10:00AM I'd happily send out scrolls for anyone that wants one. :)

The Queue: 64-butt client {WoW}

Jan 11th 2012 11:32AM I think it would be neat for WoW to go the Guild Wars route for armor tiers, having you collect scraps of material off of raid bosses to have an NPC (or even another player, via some new non-trade crafting window) craft it for you, rather than just having an entire set of pants drop. You could have each boss drop certain kinds of materials mundane and magical, and different classes would need differing amounts of each for their armor.

I mean... why would a boss be carrying around so many sets of pants anyway? They are a giant flaming dog, they don't even fit.

12 Days of Winter Veil Giveaway: FigurePrint Statue {WoW}

Dec 20th 2011 9:35AM Leavin' a comment, for the lovely figureprint. :)

WoW Archivist: The changing raid design of Naxxramas, page 2 {WoW}

Sep 21st 2011 9:18AM I got back into the game and started playing seriously just before Wrath came out, so by the time I was 80, Naxx 25 was my first raid ever. I remember getting to Heigan and thinking the entire fight was awesome with the running about and avoiding blasts of acid, and it didn't hurt that we had the entire fight synced up to "Canned Heat" over vent. (It matches up extremely well with the timing)

What stuck with me and made me feel better about raiding was that we were actually doing something! Most of the boss fights I'd seen before were all about DPS standing there and DPSing, while the healer and tank did their thing. I would hate it if every single raid boss was like that. The running around, dealing with positioning, and knowing that you're directly responsible for your own survival and the raid's success (rather than just helping make numbers go down faster) is what I loved about it.

We did a guild run of Naxx 25 the other day, and even at 85, I still insisted on running the dance for old times sake. :)

The Queue: At the end, I make a really bad pun {WoW}

Aug 15th 2011 9:55AM Spirit Gryffe should be based on whether your character has the requisite riding skill to fly. If you can fly while alive, you should be able to fly while dead, simple as that.

Breakfast Topic: What would you like to see implemented in WoW? {WoW}

Aug 8th 2011 12:30PM @Hillazon: But... I.. I couldn't kill Mylune! She's too adorable!

The Queue: Go away, Nozdormu, nobody likes you {WoW}

Jul 6th 2011 11:20AM What's even more annoying is that the mobs for the normal questing in Sethria's Roost are shared credit among anyone that fights them, but you can't get credit for the named elites for the achievement without being grouped with the person who originally tapped them.
