The Lawbringer: Consequences 2010 {WoW}

Holy shit that's like 15 hours!

Breakfast Topic: Does your guild's social reputation matter? {WoW}

Sep 6th 2010 12:37AM I like how the uprated posts are mostly ones that berate others for having the minority point of view. It shows that ethics is up to the community to decide -- not that berating a person for being different is ethical or anything.

Now, I do believe that reputation is a good thing for players and guilds, but my take on reputation is a little different than the majority of the community. Reputation, to me, is more of a style. It doesn't matter if the guild itself is seen as ethical if it has a certain style. For example, a guild could be full of trade trolls which has a negative connotation, but people will still seek to join it if they too wish to troll trade with other likeminded individuals. The only truely bad reputations for a guild would be about their skill levels and maybe (not always) their ethicality on loot distribution (some people want a guild that works only for the guild). Just be warned that a guild full of female cleansing products will attract even more female cleansing products.

I personally believe that the time we spend together in game is real even if our avatars aren't and that people should thus be treated with respect, however, you will still find me trolling trade and continuing to be ignored by half of the server for huge macros depicting starcraft pylons and voidwalkers. I don't hide behind anonymity as I only ever play one (pimped out) character and my guild's reputation is on the lower end as many of them are elietist jerks. We are still seen as one of the guilds that can put out the numbers and are as laid back as any durring raids so people respect us (even the only one (to my knowledge) who has ever trash talked my guild sent in an application).

Recap: I see fit to treat the people I play with right. My guild has a negative reputation. It hasn't shown any signs of mattering.

Now I believe it's time for me to fade to black.

Insider Trader: 7 things that should stay in Cataclysm {WoW}

Apr 26th 2010 8:56PM I see where this is going ...
Zerg Overlord mount that can hold either 4 players or 2 Demolishers ... or one Siege Engine and 1 player. It may only go 30% speed but it shouts its glorious message to all.

Breakfast Topic: 101 things to do before the world dies {WoW}

Apr 25th 2010 11:48PM Same here. I specifically leveled engineering for this purpose. The only few places I haven't gotten to are the instanced version of Silithus, the Emerald Forrest, the Secret Deadmines area (old outlands?), and the glacier behind ZF (Instanced).

Apr 25th 2010 11:36PM True, it's a lot of work just for one quest, but isn't that more realistic? There has to be a reason for a lvl 60 to pay you to do something in a lvl 30 zone. If he's already at the zone, he could easily do it himself instead of waiting for some adventurer to come along. It would seem more viable for the lvl 60 to pay you to travel and deliver a message for him or at least go out of your way to get to the the zone and kill the mobs. Otherwise, the quest giver would seem way too lazy if he could both easily and quickly do the job, yet pay you to do it instead.

Blood Pact: Truth, science and flying monsters {WoW}

Apr 25th 2010 7:04PM

The Legion has its hand in creating these to begin with, It's allready in existance, It will make people rock out with their lock out, and It works with the warlock identity.

Any objections? *>.>
