Sep 30th 2009 3:49PM I run WoW on a Intel C2D E8400 with 4gb of DDR2 RAM and a ATI Radeon 4850 card. I play at 1440x900 at full max settings except one thing which makes a HUGE difference:
I turn off Shadow Quality. It's the best thing you can do to help your framerates.
Sep 19th 2009 3:57PM As this achievement requires strong communication skills over Vent, I find it fitting that the track used was Armin van Buuren's Communication :)
So no, it's not just any generic 'techno' music.
Sep 13th 2009 4:44PM WoW isn't everything in life.
Sep 5th 2009 12:10PM It's just an option. They aren't making you pay for this service. So if you can't afford the faction change, then don't do it.
Jul 15th 2009 2:08PM Multiboxing is a great and fun way to level up alts up to 60, as you may get bored with nothing to do on your main outside of raiding and fancy levelling something. With the 3.2 patch 'buffs' to levelling, this will appeal to many, especially altaholics like me. You sent a RAF e-mail to yourself, and then buy a cheap copy of the original WoW somewhere for a few quid to upgrade it so that you can level to Level 60.
I ran 3 windows at once; one with a Level 80 Paladin spamming Holy Shock for self-heals and Sacred Shield, and the other 2 with fresh new accounts. It took me less than a few days to get a character to Level 60 by farming Deadmines, Stockades, Scartlet Monastery, Zul'Farrak and Stratholme.
Jul 12th 2009 1:51PM Why do people put their weapon melee on button 1, it's such a waste....
As a caster, you don't need to melee.
Jul 6th 2009 6:39PM I've been learning Italian for about 4 years and once I finished uni, it became quite hard to meet Italians here in London unless you got Italian friends who could introduce you to others.
Luckily, I found an active guild called Cavalieri dell'Alba on EU Dragonblight, who have been around from vanilla WoW. I was in that guild for a few months and communicated entirely in Italian. It really helped me to become more fluent.
