The curious case of Ferarro {WoW}

Jun 3rd 2009 7:46AM Yeah whoever this was they have basically gone to ground and are pretending it has all blown over. The sad thing is their site will continue to generate a lot of hits due to all the rubbernecking from the Train Wreck.

The curious case of Ferarro {WoW}

Jun 2nd 2009 4:52PM I am an imaginative guy, I write semi professionally, and have been consulted on variouse MMO and PnP game projects.

I could not have come up with this Bizzaro (on all sides) story even with the help of "mind expanding" drugs.

What I am taking away from all of this is hot girl (average girl imo but different taste) is beyond question because she's hot. Which says so much about how beauty equals goodness in our society.

I just get the nagging feeling that no one is really the victim here, I got that when Sarah started talking about how good her Identity thiefs writing was and how valuble it was....I mean if she dosen't play WoW...how would she really know?? But at this point it is so convoluted I don't think that any of us will ever get the real truth. I just know my personal code prevents me from supporting liars and scam artist even in trivial maters of visiting their blogs.

But hey it's all good just keep blogging you kooky kids!

Jun 1st 2009 8:02AM Well I have a feeling Blizzard isn't done with her; everyone assumes that she deleted or renamed her Character....I believe the wipe could be due to a full account ban. There is a reason I believe this is the comment made by a MVP who knows a lot of the Blizzard people..I ask him if Blizzard was aware he said yes, and I asked if they considered it a big deal to which he also replied yes. I knew I wasn't going to get anymore info than that so I didn't press.

May 31st 2009 4:49PM Yeah she is scramblig...she has done several edit to her latest explanation, now she is waxing her supposed Christian morals and saying no one was harmed during the propagation of this scam.

Wow...you just can't make this stuff up...well she did...okay it's not a perfect metaphor.

May 31st 2009 3:45PM And those with their heads on the chopping block are downplaying the hell out of it.

The curious case of Ferarro {WoW}

May 31st 2009 3:42PM Yes saying that networks controls a lot of other WoW blogs is very disconcerting ...how deep does this go? Being a Blizzard employee we now have to ask was this sanctioned by Blizzard as some type of social engineering? And obviously she wants those other sites to keep duping you because she didn't name and shame.

No this is more than just a few starry eyed male B.net Kiddies having their dreams crushed, this is a deep well organized scam operation that may have industry ties.

Blizzard is going to be in a tight spot here unless they take the lead and give full disclosure on all of and prove they had no involvement there good name can be irreversibly damaged.

The curious case of Ferarro {WoW}

May 31st 2009 2:56PM I don’t think folks understand just how much trouble this person may be in. There are precedents here for legal recourse, further “she” (if in fact she is telling the truth about her gender this time) can pretty much kiss her Blizzard position goodbye, and it may even blackball here in the industry.

You can dress it up all you like with romantic notions of the Dread Pirate Roberts. The bottom line is people were lied to, a employees non-disclosure agreement was more than likely violated, and god knows what else.

I am afraid this will all end badly.

Blizzard gets an F at the Better Business Bureau {WoW}

Apr 20th 2009 5:07PM This^

And anyone with an IQ above 80 knows that the majority of complaints are from poed Fourteen year olds because they did something to get banned and are now getting revenge. It is also well known that the now defunct Guild " The Overrated guild" had every one of there 300+ members file a complaint with the BBB after Blizzard banned their sorry-selves for cheating.

The rating is a joke..much like 90% of Blizzards fan base.
