Dec 9th 2011 4:16AM "I can imagine in MoP that the signature silhouette of the hunter in a raid is a kind of jumping bean, bouncing back and forth with Disengage all the time, whether we need to or not."
You mean, this isn't how hunters work anyway? i've been doing it wrong all these years!
Disengage = best ability ever!
Feb 7th 2011 10:21AM Re: MD'ing...
if no shots are fired (ie. the actual md threat isn't triggered), you can re cast it these days penalty free...
not like wrath where you had to wait for the ability to cool down.
so missing an MD on a pull is basically all hunter error now.
Jan 4th 2011 1:00PM The numbers don't seem to add up.
I've just taken a look at my GS and ilvl. I'm running at 348 according to my character tab.
if i check the gearscore/playerscore addon, it shows me sitting at 7819
which if the table is right, i'm looking at fights where the average ilvl is 348ish, and the average gs is nearer 8400.
or am i missing something in the figures.
Mar 2nd 2010 5:18AM I thought they did mention mastery??? It sounded like a similar concept to get slots?
in the same way that equipping the Same colour gem ad the slot yeilds a bonus, so will using the "correct" armour type.. I.e mail on a hunter instead of leather.
Apr 21st 2009 8:20AM my whole raid team has picked it up anyway (small guild, only 13 accounts playing 15 characters). So far it's been really useful as we are lacking a consistent OT. So we just get one of our DPS to switch for the night (i try to avoid asking them to heal, cos last time i asked a dps priest to switch up and heal, he mind controlled me off the naxx platform!).
