Dec 25th 2009 1:23PM Merry Christmas!
Dec 13th 2009 2:32AM Okay, so I just posted a comment a few minutes ago and then read through all of GC's posts in the linked thread and I gotta ask...what is this blog post even about, exactly? Do you have some sort of insider information suggesting that GC is quitting the role forums or closing them altogether? Because you don't state that you do in this post, nor do any of GC's posts suggest that, nor does anything else I could find anywhere on the forums.
I feel like this rather annoying post was designed to lure those of us who quit the wow forums years ago into the drama. Congrats, ya got me! How about you back up this claim that the WoW community is about to push the self-destruct button? I can find no evidence to support it. Just seems like trolling has been heavy for the past couple days. Big freakin' deal.
Dec 13th 2009 2:12AM For a post designed to shame rambling forum trolls, this post is a bit...rambling and trollish. Consider cleaning it up a bit. The grammar here would make any forum troller proud!
In all seriousness, I agree with your point, but you haven't stated it all that clearly, nor have you proposed a reasonable solution. These people aren't going to go away, even if what you hope for - other forum visitors shaming them en masse - actually comes to pass. If Blizzard wants to provide a solid forum where they can communicate with their player base, it's up to them to do so. This is just another case of Blizzard totally underestimating their success. They have a LOT of passionate players and not nearly enough moderation to patrol that nasty vocal minority. In that you are correct, and I wish your post was better focused around that position.

Oct 27th 2009 8:42PM Finally...finally...a good LFG system. Must be a cold day in hell. Or maybe I'm dreaming this.
I seriously can't believe it.
Aug 3rd 2009 9:52PM Have you been paying attention? Your claim could be applied to virtually any of the Q&As.
Jul 15th 2009 5:49AM I actually think content development and game design are far better than they were in the Kaplan era. It seems as though every patch another door opens to make content accessible for a larger percentage of the population, and that's great. Not to mention, development hours seem to be more evenly spread across the various play styles and interests people have with the game.
Where things have really fallen apart? Stability. I don't understand how Blizzard has allowed things to get as bad as they have, and that they are reluctant to express the exact reasons behind the problems and why they haven't been able to resolve them yet. You couldn't convince me that WoW has taken a backseat at Blizzard based on content or design...but it would be hard to argue that they are devoting the appropriate resources to server health. It's embarrassing, and it will remain a huge stain on Blizzard's record, even if they ever do change course and turn things around.
I simply cannot comprehend why the servers have been so much worse this expansion cycle than Burning Crusade. In ways it sometimes seems even worse than launch, especially because the drive to change has apparently stagnated.
Jul 7th 2009 4:17PM Definitely agree with this. Great idea for a series but a bit more effort would be nice - more commentary, especially, and screens couldn't hurt either! :)
Jun 19th 2009 9:19PM And here I would have thought you'd discuss that disturbing comment in the mage Q&A about an increased focus on shards headed our way. Some speculation on how that might be accomplished without every warlock hitting the road wouldn't be a bad idea in the near future.
