Dec 22nd 2010 7:30AM WoW would look good in one of those.
Feb 16th 2010 1:06AM Be reading some of the comments on the latest podcasts and looking back on how I used to enjoy the podcast and how it's now I can understand a bit the frustration of some community members.
As we all know there's another great WoW podcast out there, and I download every week both The Instance and the Wow Podcast. The main reason I download the podcasts is not for the info or news. I can always check Wow.com for that and be always up to date on anything Wow related. The biggest thing about the podcasts it how experience members of the community see the game.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the most important thing for me (and I'm sure for some of the listeners) is not the news, but is how the news will impact my game. I alone will always make certain assumptions of the way things might change, but a guy like Matthew Rossi or Mike Sacco will always bring a different point of view to the table. That's what I'm looking for. That different point of view that I couldn't see by myself.
While the new hosts are great for that, there are more things that make a podcast better. The most important in my opinion is "passion". And that's probably what is lacking on the current format. I'm not saying that the current hosts don't care about the podcast, what I'm saying is that they really don't seem to express their passion about the game and the podcast. Rossi has some great moments and comments, but from time to time the hosts do seem to be doing the podcast more because it's a job and less because they love it.
Yes, I know someone will say. It's their job. But is WoW OUR job or our passion? If people take time from their day to stop here and always read the news, download the podcast, watch tankspot videos and still be super excited to do the same thing over and over again, I'm pretty sure we can assume we are passionate about it. And we like to see passionated people talking about it too. Think about it, have you ever seen commercials on TV in which the actor was "sad" while talking about his product? Or where they super excited about it? Slap chop anyone?
With a little bit more of passion and truly expressing that passion, via new bumpers, a more professional set up for the podcast, better sound equipment and specially presenting things on a positive way the wow.com podcast has a lot to gain.
Nov 24th 2009 11:49AM I'll try but I never win things.

Sep 16th 2009 6:26PM Mike all the best with the move but please please please I'm not saying this as a hater but do NOT have someone on the show that we can't hear at all like on the last one.
Having someone with so many sounds issues really takes away from the show.

Jul 21st 2009 2:16PM Awesome topic! I will make sure to check out every item since I'm currently looking for a new PC for PVP and leaving the MacBook Pro on the side just for a bit of raiding when I'm on the go.
