Sep 9th 2009 7:17PM Why is this downrated? He wasn't telling you to not like it, hell he wasn't even saying he's against those works per se, he was just stating he wishes Blizzard didn't consider those works canon.
Isn't that what the comments are for? Sharing your thoughts? Seriously, are you that sensitive about someone disagreeing with you?
Jun 25th 2009 4:04PM My step-brother went to one of those hands-on schools where they let kids focus on areas they find interesting (in addition to a small core of basic curriculum.
So I just asked him - he is in the insurance business - why he decided to learn the "insurance business from the ground up."
Guess what? His answer was, "Um, to make money?" Note: it wasn't "it was so interesting!"

"It is similarly sexist to assume that women find scanty clothing offensive."
Yes, you're correct... it would be sexist (if you threw in the word "all" before "women").
But the person to whom you responded did not argue that all women find it offensive. Notice he used "could" as in "could be alienating." That's not sexist, that's just true.
May 1st 2009 1:18PM Cat-girls... we can only dream...
Seriously, are you really giving this poll to a section of WoW players?
Because, you know, it's so hard to predict how young males will vote on this one...

"Blizzards viewpoint seems to be that if they make hybrids as good as pure classes in terms of DPS, people will suddenly reroll hybrid and never look at the pure classes again."
Newsflash: That's Blizzard's viewpoint because that IS the case.
Not the extreme straw-man version you posted, but it's plain as day that many will leave pure DPS classes if another class offers equivalent DPS + extra. Just look at class trends since Wrath narrowed the gap, especially since dual specs.
Apr 27th 2009 5:33AM Daniel,
I find your comment here very telling. You advise against taking that quest-line at "face value." Yet many arguments in your 3 page post are just that - taking Alliance viewpoints uncritically at face value.
