Jul 12th 2010 11:40AM If I recall correctly, they explained why the quest design was so broken in a Twitter chat.
Originally there were only to be a fraction of the quests which actually shipped in WoW. Because the game was only to have 100 or so quests they were designed in a way to send you all over the world. That combined with them simply being new at it made for some interesting quests.
Mar 22nd 2010 8:33AM My priest alt is only 72 but I have been enjoying healing as disc (I tried holy for a level and went back).
I really hurt yesterday in reg Nexus when this happened:
11:29:11 [Random DK] whispers: you a healer but not holy spec
11:29:18 To [Random DK]: I'm disc spec...
11:29:34 [Random DK] whispers: holy is the healers spec
11:29:39 To [Random DK]: Both are.
11:29:44 To [Random DK]: Shadow is the only DPS spec.
11:30:30 [Random DK] whispers: you do beter heals in hply
11:30:37 [Random DK] whispers: holy
11:30:46 To [Random DK]: How would you know? You didn' even know disc was healing.
11:30:58 [Random DK] whispers: i have a healer
Mar 17th 2010 2:12PM I'm inclined to agree with that. It's most likely a placeholder.
But who knows we might make it to 3.9, perhaps MgT wasn't the final setback.
Mar 17th 2010 2:07PM Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't their link imply these changes are part of patch 3.9(!)?
If I recall past under dev stuff was done with "3p3" (3.3) style links?
Mar 1st 2010 8:07AM "Tripster".
He stands around outside SFK politely insulting you in an English accent.
He's a 1-25 man raid. His difficulty scales with the amount of beer he has consumed and will destroy you all with his musical attacks!
Jan 8th 2010 9:22AM As a Mac fanatic I would like to point out we don't want you defending our platform if you're going to spew such nonsense.
Macs are not invincible. Although it is true there are currently no viruses which can spread under Mac OS X, Macs do have a history of viruses* in the past on pre-Mac OS X systems and it is only a matter of time.
That being said I run my Mac without a firewall or anti virus software. I do, however, always use an authenticator on my WoW account since as strange as it seems, WoW accounts seem to be at more risk than my bank account. :P
*About 30 Mac viruses exist including NVIR, etc. However they're all extinct now and even if you had files infected they cannot spread under OS X which is what all Macs have been using for almost a decade. Compare that to the thousands of new Windows viruses per month.
