Breakfast Topic: Beyond good and evil. {WoW}

Jul 25th 2007 8:15AM Lets take a brief look at the goods and bads of each race.

Alliance:

Humans - Generally racist, egotistical, and can be megalomaniacs. When Stormwind was rebuilt, they hired masons to rebuilt the city, but when it was finished instead of payment, the masons received exile.

Dwarves - The "Exploration Guild" is nothing more than strip miners digging up large areas of land.

Night Elves - Narcissistic. They created a new World Tree (Teldrassil) against the direct order of the Dragon Aspects. As such, Teldrassil is rotted from the inside out.

Gnomes - Short sighted. Foolishly nuked their whole city. Tend to be materialistic.

Draenei - Pure for the most part, though their pureness can often lead to zealotry that can take things too far.

Horde:

Orcs - Tend to be a bit savage in their methods. Currently clearcutting areas of Ashenvale.

Trolls - Darkspear tribe has sworn of canibalism and most voodoo, though other tribes still practice it and the sins of the past still weigh heavy.

Tauren - Generally the purest of the races. Native american-like. Not much against them.

Undead - Working on a new plague to wipe out all living things.

Blood Elf - Syphoning magic from demonic sources can't be good.

Killing off the Horde and their heroes {WoW}

Jul 24th 2007 4:52PM The point I was trying to make is if you look at all the RAIDS they are all either horde races or neutral factions. I'm tired of killing orcs, undead, blood elves and trolls in all my raids. When will I see night elves, draenei, tauren, dwarves, humans and gnomes that need a good kililng in raids?

Get an epic mount already! {WoW}

Jul 10th 2007 4:06PM http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Wildhammer&n=Thayla

I went to see how geared they were and some things struck me as odd on this player: a wand with +healing? A green +stam cloth hood while having soulcloth gloves and frozen shadoweave shoulders?

None the less, there is no excuse for not having that money by 70. I walked my alt hunter into Outland with 0 gold (I stripped it all to my main) and I was able to afford his mount by level 65 just off quest reward gold and selling trash I picked up. I'm 67 on that hunter now and back up to about 400g.

Another one bites the dust {WoW}

Another one bites the dust {WoW}

Jun 28th 2007 11:41AM First of all, for all of you bitching: Shut the hell up. If you don't like that they post this, GO ELSEWHERE. I come here for the blogger's incite and opinion of what's going on. If I want NEWS, I'll go to the official site. I like posts like this for keeping me up to date on the community.

And Xanthar, if you're an elemental shaman with mana problems, then you must suck. We have an elemental shaman in our raids and he's always one of the top DPS with no mana problems. Maybe YOU and all the rest of the players that just generally suck are the one with the problems.

Refighting the Second War {WoW}

Jun 25th 2007 4:12PM NakTodd, counterpoint:

The orcs ARE sailors. Have you never played a Warcraft game before WoW or WC3? The Horde would extend a hand out to the ogres to rejoin the Horde providing ogre mages as well as ogre juggernauts on the water.

The goblins would join back with the Horde as the best customer is a repeat customer. Gazlowe is one of the head goblins on Kalimdor and he has always been a friend of Thrall. So the Horde gets goblins. The forsaken have the advantage of biological warfare. Send some spies into the human camps and spoil there food supplies and the disease will wipe out many more as it sweeps the countryside.

The Horde battleplan would be suited as follows: The orcs/taurens/trolls launch a first strike on Theramore, removing it immediately and eliminating a major alliance foothold on Kalimdor. Meanwhile, the undead and blood elves poison Southshore and the surrounding areas.

After Theramore was down, the Horde forces head to Grom'gol and push up to Stormwind. They sack the city and move through the tram to get to Ironforge, sacking it from the inside out. While the blood elves and undead kept those on northern half of the continent busy.

The night elves and Draenei would be left til the end because attacking Teldrassil or Exodar would be suicide.

The Horde are the winners IMO.
