Mar 7th 2012 3:38AM Popular or not, according to a discussion thread on MMO Champ, some returning SoR customers have logged in and found a million gold sitting in the bank of their characters, and then been promptly banned by Blizzard. There's enough accounts in the thread of this happening to make the story seem credible enough on the surface at least, along with screencaps and whatnot.
...If true, now that's a welcome back to the game I'm sure these people won't forget...
Mar 1st 2012 3:43PM Five flame shocks (and just as many instant lavabursts if the first volley did not crispify you) later and you'll be both dead and nowhere near close enough to psychic scream that multiboxer... Chances are he'll just trinket out of it anyhow and re-form his group; it's unlikely he'd be assaulted often enough to have his trinket on constant cooldown.
Solo assaults on multiboxers are simply doomed to failure under nearly every situation. Especially against such a strong healer/damage combination as elemental shamen.
Jan 14th 2012 10:42AM Fresh videos you said? Youtube is...*points*...that way.
Jan 13th 2012 12:17PM @ SR:
The concern that pet battles would take resources away from raid (model) creation may SEEM like a valid one on the surface, but it's not much truth in it really, because the people that make raids aren't the same people that program the pet battle system (and particularly, neither of those two groups are 3D graphics artists capable of designing boss models.)
It takes specific skill sets to do each of these tasks, and they don't neccessarily overlap much, if at all. Blizzard therefore has separate teams with separate staff, handling different aspects of the game. It's like blaming Ghostcrawler for the crappy human and orc player models; it's not his job taking care of that bit.
Dec 16th 2011 2:10PM "Zynga games are social", the image proclaims.
Judging from that same image, they're also intended only for white people.
Dec 12th 2011 4:12AM It turns into an increase spell damage debuff on the target, I think.
Personally, I can't quite fathom Blizzard's reasoning on a number of levels. We've lived with insect swarm as a dot since the original druid talent makeover back in vanilla WoW, and they decide NOW to change it to something completely different? I feel like I'm in a Monty Python episode or something.
For what reason do they have to screw with our insect swarm? Make a new ability if you want to give us new abilities for chrissakes!

Nov 14th 2011 10:00AM Elizabeth... Your captions are just the best. Thanks for all the IRL giggles you've bestowed upon me.

God damn buggy POS commenting/reply system... *grumble grumble* Why aren't WowInsider switching to the new system used by all other Joystiq sites already? This one is terrible and everybody's known it for years.
Nov 9th 2011 3:27AM Cataclysm has launched in China. They announced that at Blizzcon this year.
