Arcane Brilliance: The new and improved arcane tree in patch 4.1 {WoW}

Mar 14th 2011 3:11AM I am picturing this as
AB x whatever, blink into mosh pit and arcane explode, and blink out. Or, hang by healer and explode any attacks. What are you doing with your explodes? Maybe the point was to make a more cooperative group so that your arcane mage could keep the max dps up and not have to be very mobile. What can the group do about this?

Arcane Brilliance: Gearing your Mage for PvP {WoW}

Apr 29th 2009 2:05AM I wanna be an arcane spec mage, preferably arcane/fire
Everyone says this is a terrible choice.

I am taking the multiple respec opportunities that came with the latest patch and repair to spec my char more carefully. This is my first gaming exp.

I chose, without any research, to play PvE solo as arcane/fire so far. I thought it could be a good idea to dual spec to have a raid talent tree as well to satisfy the guildies.
So, I mean, I would have an optimal solo quest spec and a second, raid spec.

I have looked at various guides, particularly Wiki, and though there is advice on how to spend points in arcane, there is no follow up on how to spend remaining points in fire or even frost as a secondary talent.

Discuss and comment, please
Thanks
