Shifting Perspectives: Notes from bizarro world {WoW}

Sep 8th 2010 1:28AM tbf, most fights that were "hard" in wrath just meant = more healing.

I did the hardmodes and I always thought that.."yup this is hard, cos the healing requirements are insane"...sure dps requires bigger numbers, but there performance is the same...tanking...yeah some fights put alot on tanks...but again they had the tools to deal with it...WELL EXCEPT THOSE FECKING SHADOW ORBS ON COUNCIL..."hi we want you to chase after orbs, ps were putting a stacking dmg debuff on you if you move kk" hehe i hates them:)

Sep 8th 2010 1:25AM not to be a troll...but if your oom at the end of an encounter and you aren't exactly overgearing it...isnt this working as intended?

During BC, people regularly drunk between heroic bosses...least till we overgeared them and that was only maybe into BT gear...late eye/ssc

I healed wrath as a druid and to be honest I don't think I ever had mana concerns, there was the odd hard mode where I had to call for an innervate...namely firefighter...but aside from that it was just something I didnt really care about...which when dealing with the frantic raid damage was fine with me...

However, in a world where they want mana to matter...then you should be oom by the time a boss dies...that almost sounds like the perfect mana number? Are you possibly just being to careful with your mana?

I lvled a paladin to 71 a year or so ago and recently just bought a load of crappy green gear so I could heal to see what it was like...I have to watch my mana, but with carefull management and blowing cds correctly, I usually finish the boss fight with just enough mana...puts a real challenge and definitally makes me think a world where mana matters is cool....cos tbh presently healing on a resto druid...any wasted gcd is = bad:)

Just my thoughts!

Class Q&A: Druid {WoW}

Jul 15th 2009 9:25AM So all that and nobody asked..."Why are the majority of bears still before forced to use a lvl 70 tanking idol.../facepalm"

As a ten man only guild, the fact the only tanking idol drops of 25man hm vezzak is really just a joke. Hopefully they add it to the vendor in 3.2.

May 8th 2009 7:16AM Sorry,

This whole spec thing is just silly.

If you want to raid and you are a dps, you are obligated to push the max dps you possible can.

I run a 10man guild and I've allowed people to experiment with specs, however if I see sub standard dps they will be forced to respec for next try/boss.

Spec how you like in pvp/solo nobody cares, but turning up with stupid specs and doing sub-standard dps because its "how you like to play" is the sign of a fail player.

Monthly fee or not, fail is fail.

Ulduar nerfed, more nerfs on the way {WoW}

Apr 29th 2009 12:13PM I'm sorry I have read this blog site for over a year now and I've finally registered just to register my disgust.

I raided HC tbc, got fed up of slackers/afk holding us back, so the suggestion of 10man with progress sounded great

We raid 3 nights a week and I'd say we are all skilled players with extensive knowledge of game/class

So here comes Ulduar, we're having a great time. 10/14 so far, getting owned by random bugs/lack of focus on Mimron.

I do not play this game to stand around in epix in Ironforge, I play it for a challenge.

People failing in ulduar is just pure l2play issues im sorry. Our guild is almost entirely in 10man gear, I admit some nerfs removing rng are nice, but in general not required.

If you fail at the rune on Council you fail, l2stack on one player and have the reactions to run when a huge blue circle appears, its just pure fail.

I'm sure I'll get a "lol you aint finished, go do hard modes"…however im not saying the content is easy, im saying it’s a challenge and this challenge will diminish with improved gear…which is when you move onto hardmodes….you know progress…

Peoples arguments for making content puggable are an affront to well organised guilds and players.

At this rate, Arthas will be a Petchwork tank and spank and every huntard in the game will own frostmourne.
