Apr 29th 2008 1:47PM 2nd this, I just build an AMD system and even the most cursory research will show that the 780G doesn't have the wattage for these chips.
It frankly is the PC-makers fault if they don't check their parts.
Mar 9th 2007 2:29AM Currently a guild running two Kara groups is getting 2 T4 gloves and 2 helmets per week. If they are downing Maulgar, they are getting 1 T4 shoulder per week. Mag is also on a 1 week timer, and drops just one T4 token for the chest piece.
What you are suggesting would give 4 gloves, 4 helmets/week, and we'd still be stuck with only 1 shoulders/robe.
7-day timer on Karazhan is fine. Gruul and Magtheridon need to be tuned so they can be done concurrently with Karazhan, and they need to drop 2 tokens each.
Mar 6th 2007 10:33AM The use of Divine Shield, Ice Block, or Cloak of Shadows will no longer prematurely detonate the Shade of Aran's Flame Wreath.
Feb 27th 2007 10:32AM #6 is right on the timeline. The talent was working to reduce the cast time to 1 sec. This is not a subtle misbegotten "fix", it's a flat-out nerf.
The joke is that it's a nerf to one of the most useless talents in the tree.
Feb 6th 2007 10:15AM Anybody find the Naaru imprisoned inside the giant crystal in Nagrand? no? That zone is practically within spitting distance of Shattrath, and the naaru don't know about it.
As a whole I mistrust the naaru... e.g. why do they encourage that little Aldor/Scryer war? Why is everybody always acting elitist/classist about the Lower City? Seems like there's a lot of undesirable qualities in their followers -- fanaticism being one of the ugliest. But hey, I play a warlock, so what do I know?
@12: The Blood Elves on Azeroth have little contact with Kael, just a promise of paradise in Outlands. Those that make the pilgrimage find out that they've just been tooled, and take up the fight against him. That's the story, anyway...
Feb 1st 2007 11:13AM X-Perl is awesome, I wish more people would use it. The features are INSANE. I can see everybody's target, so I can see who is targetting something they shouldn't be. I can see who is assisting me. There's a threatmeter right in the MT window (provided you have KTM). I can see all the pets, all the debuffs/buffs (or only the relevant ones). You can even put it in healer mode and see hp as deficit values.
Along w/ DoTimer, X-Perl gives me (almost) more information than I can deal with. But it's all put up so cleanly, that it's no problem.
Oh yeah, MetaHUD is nice too. I use ArcHUD though, I find it easier to read (and there's an enemy casting bar).
Dec 15th 2006 3:12PM Find a group, get some wins. It'll go faster, you'll have more fun. You'll get many more tokens, and a good bit more honor. This is one of my critiques of the system... I have more marks than I can spend with the honor that I've got. Oh well, guess I'll buy another mount. =P I wish I could have the option of turning in some marks for more honor.
One of the 'features' of the new PVP game is that everybody and their brother's dog is PVPing. Many guilds have given up or reduced their raiding and turned to PVP... Organized groups are the norm 90% of the time, and solo-grinding PVP in PUGs is, for now, a thing of the past.
Things will probably tone down a bit at 70, when the raiders go back to doing their thing.
Dec 14th 2006 12:53PM "Healing is a thankless job that is worth nothing outside of raids, so healers should get equal bidding priority on DPS items for farming and PVP."
So healing is worth nothing in PVP? That statement is laughable. Anybody who has been in or been up against an organized team knows how important good healers are.
I agree with #11. Hopefully the token system will pretty much do away with the need for DKP.
