Jul 29th 2010 3:19PM Haha. I'm in WHU too!
Jul 29th 2010 2:58PM "other times, they're hillbillies destabilized from imbibing massive quantities of impure corn liquor and generations of profoundly unbiblical procreation."
Best description of a Dwarf Hunter I've ever read, especially if you roll engineering.
That WoW Toyota commercial should be the class mount.
"FOUR WHEELS OF FURY!!!"
With a gun rack, of course.
May 17th 2010 9:58PM This is a great article, but you might be a little hyper-critical of the hunters in your groups because you play that class as your main. I catch myself doing the same quite a lot. I'm not sure how low level your alt is, but everyone in the group, not only the hunters, are learning how to play.
I could point to a number of ignorant things I did while leveling my hunter, and I'm sure you could think of a few yourself. If I were to level a second hunter, it would be a different story.
"I wish that I knew what I know now. When I was younger."
May 14th 2010 3:59AM Wtf is up with that picture? It looks like a hologram.
Mar 1st 2010 9:16PM I actually rolled a rogue alt when Cataclysm was announced in preparation of these changes. Although I don't think that focus will be as extreme of a wait as energy is, I do think we will be paying a lot more attention to our focus bars than we currently do to our mana bars.
I am very interested to see the direction that mana based talents are going to go. For one, I have no idea what Aspect of the Viper will turn into. If we have 100 focus, like our pets, and assuming that shots will cost around 20 focus each with a passive regen rate of 5 per second, and increased regen through steady shot, there probably isn't going to be a need for a long term focus regeneration aspect.
I am a little concerned about things changing, and there probably will be a lot of bugs to work out at first, a'la Death Knights in Wrath, but the hunter community is going to come through. If you love playing a hunter for the reasons most of us do, it has very little to do with having a mana bar. It is going to be different, but I doubt it will be something that would cause me to reroll another class.

Jan 7th 2010 9:14AM So glad to finally have a hunter columnist who does their research. Welcome aboard, Frostheim.
Dec 25th 2009 8:12PM I have an idea. How about complimenting the over-geared and serious raiders who are making the run so much smoother for you? I have very little issue with being grouped with people who might be a little undergeared for the content, because I know that running these instances is how you get better gear, and chances are that my skills and gear can kind of off-set some deficiencies (even bad tanks and healers to a point). It did take a lot of time and effort both in and out of the game to get to where I am at, and it is nice to hear some praise every once in a while for the professional job I consistently do. I am also more likely to stick around and help if things go horribly wrong.
I'm not trying to school anyone, but casuals with a chip on their shoulder and an attachment to the casual/hardcore dichotomy are simply not open to improving as players, regardless of how much time they can put into the game. I can understand that there are some jerks out there, but I don't get the hostility. Not everyone is a jerk. No, it is not necessary to have 5k dps in a heroic, but Just try being nice and appreciative to those who do.
Nov 19th 2009 2:35PM Another one I use is to have an icon flash when I have Aspect of the Pack on. This way, the raid usually don't have to remind me to turn it off.
Sep 21st 2009 11:15PM "A bunch of tips" is a link to the general forums?
This article creates an issue out of thin air and then reports on it.
This is horrible journalism. Almost on par with tabloids.
