Breakfast Topic: Biggest problem with Warcraft today {WoW}

Dec 3rd 2006 3:11AM The biggest problem in wow today is Blizzard. They are fat and lazy. They are all rich and couldn't care less about us any more. 4 Million people would have to get pissed off and quit before they even took notice.

All they care about are the people that play non-stop. If you play for 2 hours a day, (or would like to) they don't give a crap about you. They cater to the 14-22 year old students who play 8+ hours a day. Everything in the new expansion pack is faction based which means more grinding.

Gimme more variety:

Gimme a server that has a timer on it, no more than 25 hours a week total on all toons. Once you reach 24 hours you get a little button that says logout in 60 minutes. Tuesday to Tuesday cycles. Then everyones on the same foot.

Gimme a PVP Free for all server. You can gank members of your own faction.

Gimme a Fallen Server where everything goes, BOTS MODS anything and everthing completely un-policed. No transfers just start from scratch and have at it. May the best (wo)man win.

Gimme pvp server that are set up to accept PVE transfers.

Gimme pistols let me dual weld them.

Wow is stagnant and they act like its all cool.

That's a very valid point. Never thought of it that way. And I agree.

Breakfast Topic: Queues, Queues Everywhere {WoW}

Nov 27th 2006 9:19AM Blizzard is ill prepaired for this expansion, and run by buffoons, so I expect the worst.

Latest beta patch changes {WoW}

Nov 18th 2006 10:56PM As far as the AOE goes, you guys have never done the Panthers in ZG where it seems you can have scores of panthers running around, the mages are instrumental in beating that boss. Even the Skellies around the Baron will be tougher as I think there are more than ten there as well.

Nov 17th 2006 12:43PM Blizzard is going to screw this up aren't they. My faith has been deeply shaken.

I know the warriors were complaining about the Druids being better tanks but in the forums they said over and over don't nerf the druids just fix our scalability issues for generating rage.

Instead of fixing the class that was broken they broke another class. Again.

Breakfast Topic: How to Farm Gold {WoW}

Nov 17th 2006 11:00AM Find an herb Especially the ones that make superior or above mana and health pots, on the AH with less than a screen full of items, and buy them all. The re-list 1/2 of them at 3x what you bought them for with a long list time, then list the other half and 2x what you bought them for on a 2 hour list time. Then if you're an alchemist, go farm them, check the ah frequently to buy all the new listing others put up until they fall in with the new pricing.

Keep an eye on the price of the potions you are affecting too, and when you see them come up and price use the additional herbs you bought at the lower cost to make those potions. (works especially well when get alchemy exp for making those potions) I recently made over 100 gold profit doing this over the course of a weekend.

Nov 17th 2006 10:29AM Seriously, less and less enthused about the xpac with every new word coming out of the Blizzard Blues. My Warrior can't tank as well as a Druid, My Preist healing ability has been nerfed into the dirt, and now my mage has been nerfed as well.

Someone remind me why I want to play this game anymore.

Queues rearing their ugly head more frequently? {WoW}

Nov 13th 2006 4:49PM I got my first Queue ever on Gorgannsh last night. Needless to say I was surprised and disappointed. I have had a bad taste in my mouth for a while for queues and the problems the caused me. My first main, was a epiced out warrior on Lothar. I abandoned him when the queues on Lothar hit the 300 user mark, and lasted for a half an hour or more. I moved to Lightninghoof, or something like that was a RP-PVP server. I really liked that server, and was playign the horde, something I much prefer. I started to experience long queues there as well because all though it was a brand new server all of the toons were packed into the same levels and therefore the same area. I abandoned another couple toons there.

The Bitterness of loosing those toons because of Blizzards BS Inane no PVE to PVP Transfers, my disdain for their new anti Modders policy, the lack of original content and poorly designed xpac, has me just waiting for the next game to come out.

I can only imagine how bad it's going to be when thousands of 60's flock to the new areas on opening day. Keep in mind most of the population is 60. It won't be fun. In fact like most changes since about may 06 they will suck and make the game worse and not better.

Nov 8th 2006 8:54AM Im fine with it as long as you can opt out.
