Apr 6th 2010 11:27AM @BlackTiger - Actually, the gold is Blizzard's property, not the players. I cannot give my gold to someone else to sell, and I cannot sell it to someone because it doesn't belong to me in the first place. Selling someone else's property IS stealing. If I came over and sold your possessions (house, car, clothes, computer) without your consent, that would be stealing. Just because the item being sold is virtual doesn't make it any less of a crime.
Mar 22nd 2010 1:22PM Tankisgay - How would you feel if I prefer to play wow most of the time and just show up to your rugby games and expect to start and play every game?
Or if I put in my time raiding, but got dibs on your girlfriend?
Or spent my time leveling an alt but got half your paycheck?
You put the time into those other efforts, other people put their time into WoW. You choosing to not put the time into the game doesn't entitle you to have the same experience as those who have, just as my not putting my time into rugby/work/your girlfriend doesn't entitle me to them.
Mar 9th 2010 11:17AM Just so you know, Odd Job (from the Bond universe) throws his hat.
Random Task (from the Powers universe) throws his shoe.
Just thought I'd point that out.
May 20th 2009 2:31PM Had a similar thing happen on a Maly attempt a few weeks ago. Granted, most of our group were under-geared, but we were doing it to see where we were at. Well, brought along this "elite" pally healer.
While we're dying, he's taking the time to comment on people's gear, and why are they doing this with any blues (it was a guy we were trying to gear for DPS). Now, this was the middle of the fight.
Yeah, so the guy spent most of the time complaining about us not being "leet" enough for the fight. Not to mention he'd open his mic on vent and then spend 20 seconds with "uhm" and "uh" before and after saying 3 word sentences. Basically tying it up so no one else could really try and talk.
I can't stand players like that.
May 20th 2009 11:16AM That would explain why Consecration disappeared around that time.
