Oct 28th 2011 3:38AM GTFO has been a good companion for me, and is very good at training me to pay attention during heroics.

Gold Capped: Using blacksmithing to make gold on the auction house {WoW}

Feb 23rd 2010 3:34AM I'm surprised at the author. Read the changelogs on your addons! See the magnifying glass just to the right of the circled >>?

That asks WoW for the entire AH in one go, and if it fails, falls back to scanning each page. If it works, it takes 3 seconds to scan the AH.

That sure beats the 20 minutes the suggested method takes.

Blizzard shines the spotlight on account security {WoW}

Feb 5th 2010 7:39PM I would LOVE to have an authenticator linked to my account. But, I would likely misplace/break the keychain dongle. However, I do have a really nice Motorola Droid. Waiting on StarCraft II? Blame WoW {WoW}

Jul 1st 2009 1:29AM The civilization guys code multiplayer first, and explained why in a video I saw.

Essentially, by coding multiplayer first, you can quickly lasso one or three other devs for a quick test, and it allows the developers to put off (very difficult) AI programming for a while, after everyone has learned and balanced the game out.

By starting with no AI multiplayer, devs making single/multiplayer games are able to get a much more polished game out faster.

May 20th 2009 12:48AM Don't mind me, just sneaking in at the last moment.

PopCap's addons are obfuscated, Blizzard is OK with that {WoW}

May 5th 2009 2:03AM I think if you are going to obfuscate code for performance, you should be required to make unobfuscated code available. In a zip in the addon folder, or a download link in the README should be plenty.
