Aug 14th 2010 9:51AM Couldn't agree more. I love my Tauren Shaman

Cataclysm raid progression refinements {WoW}

Apr 26th 2010 1:34PM I think this is a great idea for many reasons.

1.) Obviously, this is good news for casual players. Now they won't have to complain about their gear being inferior, which is a good thing.

2.) This is really gonna put a stick in the gears for those top-tier guilds. They can't double dip raids to get more loot to down content faster. This is Blizzard really putting a cap on our progression and I think that's wonderful. Slow down and enjoy the content a little bit.

Breakfast Topic: What won't you do? {WoW}

Mar 5th 2010 10:01AM I lol'd heartily at:

Two reasons: the class design offends my sense of basic game design and has since the days of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons

I'm probably gonna use that as my forum signature lol

Mar 5th 2010 10:00AM I will never like Darnassus - no matter how hard it tries.

Operation Gnomeregan: Transcripts and details {WoW}

Mar 3rd 2010 9:09PM I feel like all this Gnomer. business is practically a guarantee that we'll see Heroic Gnomeregan in Cataclysm

Ensidia temporarily banned for exploits {WoW}

Feb 4th 2010 11:03AM I'm glad they finally got some retribution. Don't get me wrong, they're a great guild and they've done some good stuff as a guild, but they've been flirting with this kind of behavior for awhile. Between the nonsense that went down with their ToGC-25, and their questionable tactics in killing the Keepers and Yogg's Hard Modes, this has been a long time coming. Muqq's post is just hilarious to read. This is a perfect end to this strange expansion pack.

Spoilers: Fall of the Lich King cinematic {WoW}

Feb 1st 2010 5:03PM *Tch*
I have to admit, I'm a little underwhelmed. The part with Arthas was really well done, but there's something missing in the exchange between Fordragon and Fordring.

Realm Status: Coming back online {WoW}

Dec 8th 2009 5:18PM This happens a lot on Patch Day. My guess is that some sort of new compatibility patch has to be developed between player servers and authentication servers each time a new patch comes out; the compatibility patch isn't able to be tested on a large scale like the data patch is (PTR). I just assume that we experience extended maintenance as they figure out how to reconnect the authentication servers with the player servers.

Realm Status: Coming back online {WoW}

Dec 8th 2009 5:16PM While I certainly am aggravated with extended maintenance (as I find myself to be on every single Patch Day), I think some of you are out of control. This isn't life or death, and this certainly isn't something new. We were fortunate to be able to play 3.2 around 3 PST (at least my realm was up by then). For those of you who remember Ulduar, servers weren't playable (able to raid without mass disconnects) until well into that night. The WotLK pre-patch was even worse.

That being said, I certainly don't think players are asking too much in wanting just an update. Even if it's just something as simple as Zarhym or another CM saying "Yes. We know you're all disconnecting. We're aware of the problem and are working on a fix right now. Update in an hour." As I said, I don't think that's an outlandish request to make of the Dev Team.

To anyone who is new to Patch Day, welcome to the madness! For you old folks who've weathered many a rough Patch Day, just remember, you're taking this extended downtime in stride: we'll be killing the Lich King soon enough!
