Jan 24th 2011 1:28PM I tried so hard to complete this before 4.01 dropped, running Scholomance repeatedly right up to the last night for the helm to drop so I could complete Saved the Best for Last. Alas it was not to be. Loved the chain though and had a blast doing it, even at lvl 80.

Chest - Powerful Stats (from Wrath +10 all stats vs. +20)
Back - Critical Strike (+50 crit vs. +65)
Hands - Mastery (+50 mastery vs +65)
Wrist - Critical Strike (+50 crit vs. +65)
Due to the prohibitive cost of the maelstrom crystals, I've been using these in my pre-raiding gear (except for wrist as I'm a leatherworker and use the +130 agi emboss). I can't justify spending upwards to 5K or more just to have 15 - 30 extra crit rating or +10 agi.

Dec 30th 2009 1:52PM I agree with you re: bat mounts. While I can see why they wouldn't work currently (no running animation) an update would fix that and get us flapping around on the only flying mount in the game (that I can come up with immediately) that you cannot obtain.
