Mar 13th 2012 1:19PM Get rid of ink in inscription. It's a time-wasting step, nothing more. Just make all recipes require the appropriate number of pigments instead.
Remove primary stats from gems. No more int/str/agi. Mix the colors up so that people will actually want to use more than one color gem, and have larger primary-stat socket bonuses to further encourage people to use multiple colors. This will even out the demand of colors so we're not stuck vendoring gems because we can't use them at all, or paying 5 times the value of the next cheapest color for whichever is most in demand.
Pay careful attention to the mats in enchanting recipes. If dusts are supposed to be the most common mat, don't make essences the mat we need the most of.
Feb 21st 2012 11:14AM I want Pandas to do a Shuffle. Either the Melbourne or Truffle variety.
Jan 31st 2012 9:23AM Stealing accounts is evil, but I don't have the hatred many people do for botters (unless they're botting on a stolen account). I have never botted, nor will I, because I don't want to get suspended or banned, and I don't need the mats so much that I'm willing to pay for a second account. However, the whole in-game economy revolves around gathered or farmed materials, and gathering is painfully unenjoyable, so people run bots. Gathered mat prices have never recovered on my server after the mass ban that went in around 4.3's launch. Because gathering is torture. I for one miss cheap ore and herbs.
Jan 30th 2012 1:47PM I have a hard enough time finding 9 other people I like enough to want to spend my free time with. As soon as they announced 25s and 10s having identical loot, I knew I would never raid 25 mans again as long as the loot is the same. I never enjoyed raiding with people I didn't like just to get better loot, but I did for Vanilla and 2 expansions.
threesixteen is using the same fictitious argument 25 man raiders have been using to artificially inflate their epeen this entire expansion. The additional challenge of 25 mans lies in the logistics and computer-load. Nothing more. Basic math shows there is less margin of error in 10 man. 1 death in 10 man = 10% of your raid force is down. In 25 man, it's 4%.
Jan 29th 2012 11:35AM The author of that description in the photo needs to learn that quantity of adjectives doesn't equate to quality of writing.
Jan 9th 2012 3:47PM I thought we only needed 97.4% because of the standard 5% miss chance against us?
Jan 7th 2012 10:59AM I think the new models are definitely coming in MoP because they will go hand-in-hand with monks for all the old races. They'll need the increased detail for all the new kung fu moves. Dance Studio will also come from this.
This late into WOW's life cycle Blizz needs to bite the bullet and make each expansion contain all previous content. If a new player buys MoP it should include 1-85 and all previous content.
Jan 1st 2012 9:48AM me me me!
