Cataclysm currency exchange rates {WoW}

Sep 15th 2010 1:22PM A lot of you are talking about the honor conversion/Justice Points. Understandable, yes.

But I'm I the only one who's seeing the amount of Gold potential here?
Assume you have a geared level 80 tank. A heroic is 5 to max 15 minutes work normally. For that, you get
a) Emblems themselves, which will be converted to gold ( since you can downrank them to Conquest before Cata ships )
b) Instant queues
c) Gold ITSELF from running the actual Random Heoric
d) Not to mention the amount of DE mats, BoE greens and blues

It might be so that I missed a line, but 5,5G per emblem, with 4-7 emblems each heroic, + 20 gold for running it, it comes down to around 50 + gold each 10 minutes.

Is this too good to be true?

How do the ''Do Not Walk On The Grass''-signs get on the grass in the first place?

Sep 15th 2010 11:34AM I have a question about the 2 starting zones of Cataclysm.

In previous articles, mentioned that the zones are huge ( for example Vash'ir divided into 3 subzones with each their own map), but I'm still afraid that the 2 STARTER zones will be overcrowded once the game releases.

I'm on Silvermoon-EU, and it's one of the best and most popular realms on the Alliance side of WoW. People transfer here all the time searching for Alliance goodies, but it puts a lot of stress on the server. If I want to want to farm herbs or Ore for example, I have to farm at odd times, like very early or very late on a day. Else, it's almost not possible.

How is Blizzard going to handle the sheer amount of players within the new starter zones? I'm not sure if / where you can check the population of your realm, but there must be like 20000 + alliance players ready to advance to the new zones. Most people will do the same quests which requires you to kill X of a mob that lots of other players need as well for example. Has Blizzard come up with a solution for this? ( for example Phasing)?.

I'm not in the Beta or PTR, so I'd like to know. Thanks in advance for people who can answer my question!

Sep 2nd 2010 11:40AM Maybe we can let Octopus Paul predict the release date?
After this year's World Championship Soccer, it seems like he's ALWAYS right!

Aug 31st 2010 11:22AM Since Tanaris will be (mostly) under water in Cataclysm, what will happen to Noggenfogger Elixir? Is the NPC still there?
