Sep 7th 2010 8:34PM >My heart has been shattered. My libido, on the other hand, is interested :3
I think that goes for a lot of us~ 8D
Aug 28th 2010 4:44PM Badges aren't being 'converted' as such, more that that's the new system. Every time a new raid tier comes out, all of your higher level points get converted to the lower level, and all of the gear from that tier is buyable with the lower level points. (I think)
Jun 30th 2010 10:34PM I was all sad that I hadn't got one, but now I'm excited and waiting again :>
May 15th 2010 7:06PM My guild has started doing this already - We spent a long time on Sindragosa and a lot of people were getting burnt out. We finally downed her when one particular person was out for the night. (Blistering Cold is hard)
Now we're on LK, but we've had issues with people getting lateshift-ed and the like, so we haven't had too much time on him. However, to help stave off burnout anyway, we're bringing in alts for earlier content, and Thursday is our old shit night. We've done ToGC a few times (getting annoyingly close to Insanity - IHU Faction Champs), and we're going back and doing Algalon as well. :)
I'd have to say it's definitely helping.
Feb 16th 2010 11:40PM The problem with the Ulduar lockout now is that whenever the raid weekly is in Ulduar, you're going to be skipping out on 5 frosts and 5 triumphs as well! Even if it's only a farming character, that's still making your primordial saronites take longer as well.
Jan 27th 2010 7:15PM I know I've had similar problems recently - We have a holy pally in our 10man team, and he's away atm. As a holy/disc priest, though primarily holy for the raid, I was asked to go disc and cover tank heals.
We downed the first wing of ICC fine, and then we get to Plagueworks. We clear trash, and then we're looking at Festergut.
"We'll give it a try," the raid leader says, "But I don't think we can do it without X."
We then go and one shot deathless kill it.
I felt awesome for having surpassed his expectations, but also not so good because he thought we couldn't do it.
Jan 20th 2010 5:46AM Funny that, I'm a NZer in NZ as well.
When people were going on about how LotR was breathtaking and stuff, I'll have to admit I didn't see anything special. Suppose I'm just used to it all. :D
Jan 19th 2010 9:29PM More films to be made in my little old country. :>
Although, it gets kind of annoying that, whenever you tell someone you're from New Zealand they say "Oh, that place where Lord of the Rings was filmed?" etc.
Jan 18th 2010 12:14AM I swear, EVERYBODY goes for the pink pigtails. :P Is the gnome on the loading screen *that* much of an influence?
