May 7th 2009 7:51AM I have to trust my AVG it has kept me safe for years.

I also did a Google search for smartadserver and Spywaredb.com comes up with the following: "SmartAdServer.com is one of Cookie spywares.
Finding it on your computer means that your computer is infected with Cookie and crucial data could be endangered or even lost."

I have removed the Curse Client from both of my systems.

May 6th 2009 10:05PM My anti virus is showing something that the Curse Client as a threat. That is a problem and proof enough for me that Curse is at the very least installing spyware on my system if not the rumored keylogger I had heard about.

I have removed the Client and just update manually or run sans mods.

May 6th 2009 7:21PM Why is it every time I run the Curse Client, my AVG resident shield catches it trying to install a cookie for smartadserver??
I did a google search for smartadserver and found conflicting info.
And why does it think it needs to run constantly??

Not sure about this Curse Client.
