Dev Watercooler: Ghostcrawler discusses massive changes to threat {WoW}

Aug 16th 2011 12:52PM Next logical step for patch 4.4: Featuring the threat model of Battleheart: Mobs automatically hit the player with the most armor in melee range.

Don't know how this works for ranged mobs...

Instance servers busted, Lord Ahune to blame {WoW}

Jun 22nd 2011 10:25AM This might as well happen, because they moved half of their instance servers to the Titan project already...

WoW Archivist: World of Warcraft patch 1.4 part 2 {WoW}

Jun 21st 2011 3:50PM The hunter quest line alone was more content for me, than any daily quest hub could ever bring. It made me level a hunter to 60 until could begin to live in an 3 hour rhythm to get some shots at the demons. No first kill of any raid boss was so sweet like the feeling of accomplishment, when I finally got the staff and the bow. It's a shame that the quest line was simply patched out of the game.

Update: PVP Season 9 ending as soon as June 28 {WoW}

Jun 18th 2011 1:45AM The Ahune loot was already upgraded to iLvl 353 with patch 4.1

The Queue: Alcohol-free zone {WoW}

Jun 15th 2011 12:55PM Yes, the items from Ahune are upgraded to iLvl 353. Too bad, that he has mostly cloaks and you get a 365 epic cloak of choice from the Thrall quest line, which just required you to jump through 4 portals and whack elementals for a couple of minutes...

Gold Capped: Stockpiling for patch 4.2 {WoW}

Jun 14th 2011 4:18AM You're right, I mixed up Eternals and Volatiles. The elementals in Firelands drop loads of Volatile fire. I did the dailies on the PTR and got maybe 3-4 per day just from farming Marks of the World Tree.

Gold Capped: Stockpiling for patch 4.2 {WoW}

Jun 14th 2011 3:20AM I definitely wouldn't recommend to buy Eternal Fire before the patch. Everybody will kill hundreds of Fire Elementals in the upcoming dailies.

Patch 4.2: No justice points over the cap, more info soon {WoW}

Jun 7th 2011 2:30PM If you're just some VP shy to buy the next T11 item before the patch, you could try the following to circumvent the JP cap:

1. Just before logging off the last time before 4.2 goes live, spend some JP on an old blue 346 item.
2. With the patch all VP will be converted to JP, no points lost because old JP have been spent.
3. After the patch, buy the desired T11 item and other stuff for the converted JP.
4. Give back the 346 blues from step 1. for a full JP refund.

This way you won't lose any points because you couldn't spend your VP. This should work, if the 2 hours for a full vendor refund will not be reset with the patch.

World of Warcraft patch 4.2 patch notes {WoW}

May 3rd 2011 4:12AM My account expired in march and I was able to use PTR 4.1 afterwards.
