Feb 5th 2011 3:21PM "lack of communication" ???
could you please tell me of another gaming company that dedicates more time/space than Blizz to customer communication? (I'd really like to know, since I've personally never seen any other company communicate as much as Blizz)

Feb 2nd 2011 9:34PM oh, it will go live. If for no other reason than patch stability. They can't revert that change now and still release the patch next week. They'd need more testing and they've already pushed it forward enough weeks even though there are a ton of other changes in it as well. Even if they decided that it was too much too soon yesterday, they'd still push it out with this patch and then fix it further down the road.
Feb 2nd 2011 8:57PM @Rin: Please show me that ToS... because I've seen recommendations for Europeans to start a US acc on the official forums without this getting mentioned even once.
Feb 2nd 2011 8:46PM assuming the person has said something (or caused an entry in your chatlog in some other way) you can shift-click the name-link to paste the name into an open chat-prompt. ... although I think those links contain an ignore-option if you right-click them as well, but that could be a function from one of my chat-addons.
Feb 2nd 2011 8:43PM as stated it the Wowhead comments, you can use /run print(GetStatistic(5449)) to get the counter. This is (or should be) valid advice for every achievement that lacks a counter but should have one, just replace the number with the correct achievement-number. (check Wowhead for the number, it's in the address for your specific achievement)
Feb 1st 2011 12:45PM runeforge: it won't get soulbound, but the runeforge will only work for your DK (just like enchants that requires a certain lvl, say scopes)
iPhone: You'd better still have the old phone with you. Without it, your only option is to call Blizzards support line.
Feb 1st 2011 12:39PM That's pretty much how the worgen curse got started.
Feb 1st 2011 8:01AM When I re-read your comment, I realized I didn't answer your question :p
Mouseover casting is one less mouse-click, it's that simple. For those of us who use Clique(me) / Healbot / Vuhdo, we select our target and choose our heal with the same mouse-click. For example, my right mousebutton is mapped to Smite with a version of the macro I posted. My left is mapped to PoM. My sidebuttons are mapped to PW:S and Penance. Other heals are mapped to a modifier+a mouse-button.
For me, if I have to click a target and then click a heal, it would be two separate decisions in my head and thus a longer reaction-time. With the mouse-over method, it becomes one decision for me. It's very much a personal decision where both approaches bring different benefits for different players.
Feb 1st 2011 7:46AM Art, even with Clique+Grid, that macro is useful. Clique handles macros as well, and it uses mouseover macros. So you can either key-bind the macro, or plug it into clique. I think you can adapt it to healbot/vuhdo/others as well but it's been so long since I used any of them that I'm not sure.
