Jan 18th 2012 11:08PM Great article!
Does anybody know what addons the commentators in the video are using? I'm just getting into pvp, and would like to start learning about what addons are best for quickly seeing cds, enemy casts, etc.

Jan 7th 2012 8:40AM Oh look, a fresh new topic that has never been discussed to death here before!
Okay, snark off. I'm female. Most of my toons are male. It's mostly a question of aesthetics, animations, and general "feel" of the character. With the exception of blood elf female rogues, the male animations and looks of my preferred races simply appeal to me more.
But then, I never thought of my characters as stand-ins for myself, as many people seem to do. They're not "me," they're just little toons I'm playing with, like a doll or a puppet. "Action figures," if you will. And each one is different. How boring if they were all just like me.
I don't role play or seek "immersion" in the WoWverse, but if I did, I still wouldn't want to restrict myself to only one sex/gender, any more than I'd want to restrict myself to only one race. After all, not very many novelists write stories devoid of any opposite-sex characters, do they?
I guess it helps that I'm very secure in my gender/sexual identity, have nothing to "prove" on that score, and don't care a whit whether people see me as male or female, "feminine" or "masculine" in-game. Or out of it, for that matter. It just doesn't worry or concern me.

Dec 2nd 2011 7:08PM Wow, what a GREAT prologue that was! I really, really enjoyed it. I love the way you made the circle complete by using the visual ellision of the boxes being put down, with Papa's boots visible, then lifted up with Mr. Orc's and Mig's feet seen instead. Very nicely done.
Can't wait to see where the story goes next!
Nov 29th 2011 7:26AM Wow, yeah. I went to youtube and watched the 3.3 trailer again right after looking at this one. Man, there's just no comparison. 3.3 had a wonderful cinematic sensibility -- it was obvious that the shots were storyboarded and laid out with care and a strong sense of visual narrative. 4.3, not so much. :(
Nov 12th 2011 4:17PM Great idea -- add more visuals, something other than just talking heads, and I'll be watching. Please don't abandon your podcast, though! I do housepainting and remodeling for a living, and listening to podcasts on my iPhone really helps me pass the time during the more monotonous parts of my work. I love listening to you guys every week, and would really miss you if you went to all video!
