Oct 13th 2010 1:21PM I haven't seen any news on the gem transmute cooldown - was it removed or no? I did a transmute and it put me on a three hour cooldown. I did another one three hours later and it put me on a 24 hour cooldown.
Aug 24th 2010 1:57PM 'Healing Rain! A-O-E that heals my ho-o-mies! Healing Rain!' (I move away from the mic to breathe in)
May 7th 2010 10:38AM Yes!!! This fight hinged on who failed at killing constructs and who didn't. Those nights when all of the fail construct players kept getting turned into ghosts were some looooong nights. I'm sure all of us had one of 'those' players - you know who you are....
Also, Illidan phase two, Kael transitioning between phases two & three, and also whenever I spotted one of those untainted water elementals on my side during the Vashj encounter - that always made me nervous that I was going to screw up.
May 3rd 2010 2:31PM I totally agree, WotLK has made
the player base way too complacent. Mention the word 'attunement', and most players start to grumble. Look at how easy these 5-man heroics are these days? Based on that, do you honestly think they'd bring back the types of attunements that were in vanilla WoW? Or even the 25-man attunements that were in BC for that matter?
People are even crying about how painful getting their Karazhan key was & not to bring that back? It may have been a pain then, but let's imagine that you had to do four or five heroic WotLK 5-mans to get attuned to some new instance. Is that too much to ask with the current state of 5-man instances - easy as hell aoe fests? You were probably going to do those instances anyway for the badges that drop.
And to the people who say that attunements need to be soloable: Please google the acronym MMO. Found it yet? Ok, take note of what the two 'M's in MMO stand for. Thanks.
The sky is not falling people; all I see here is that to get into some instances, you may have to do some steps in between that you were probably already going to do.
Apr 9th 2010 3:18PM For the sake of rogues, I hope smoke bomb works better than Snake's cardboard box. Or maybe I just fail at cardboardboxing.
Feb 27th 2010 2:37PM Buzz Killington: Stewie, do you know why W.S. Gilbert was frequently drunk on his trans-Atlantic crossings?
Buzz Killington: Because he was quartered on the port side. (chuckles) Now that I've got you, let's both revisit the birth of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company.
Stewie: Ahhhhhhh. (sighs and pinches sinuses like he has a migraine)
Feb 27th 2010 1:53PM Lol at the Welcome Bears! I remember when I first began WoW & my lowly leveled undead wandered aimlessly from Undercity and into Western Plaguelands. "Why does this bear have question marks where his level should be?" I asked myself - and then he promptly proceeded to maul
my face off. I always wondered why such a high level zone was next to a starting area.
Feb 18th 2010 9:27PM JC not good for income? Seriously? There's free gold just sitting on the AH for jewelcrafters. It's just slow & steady, but it's most definitely there.
Feb 18th 2010 2:17PM My first and main toon was leveled on a pve server, but I am currently leveling a new toon on a pvp server. One thing I quickly learned is if you're having problems with being ganked, do some quests in zones a few levels below you until things die down. Finish up some of those quests that went green. For example, once you hit level 50, don't be so anxious to rush off to the Plaguelands - finish up some quests in Feralas or something. You'll be less likely to run into players that are higher level than you.
And try not to use the roads.
Feb 18th 2010 1:44AM Alright Guild Housing!!! Blizz, I NEED this so I can chill at my house, log on to WoW, and.... chill at my toon's house?
I'm not getting the fascination with guild housing, I'm sorry
