Dec 30th 2009 1:38PM I had done less than 5 heroics (most of those being VH) prior to the patch coming out. I bought all the blue tank gear I could get my hands on to be a decent tank and then when the patch came out, I went crazy with the random groups. I feel like I had HoS every day, but now that I go to my armory and look at my stastics, I can see that there is a pretty random distribution. I have not left any groups even though I can't stand some of the instances. Below are the statistics for the heroic bosses I've killed.
Ingvar the Plunderer kills (Heroic Utgarde Keep) 6
Keristrasza kills (Heroic Nexus) 9
Anub'arak kills (Heroic Azjol-Nerub) 5
Herald Volazj kills (Heroic Ahn'kahet) 9
The Prophet Tharon'ja kills (Heroic Drak'Tharon Keep) 13
Cyanigosa kills (Heroic Violet Hold) 8
Gal'darah kills (Heroic Gundrak) 7
Sjonnir the Ironshaper kills (Heroic Halls of Stone) 8
Loken kills (Heroic Halls of Lightning) 7
Ley-Guardian Eregos kills (Heroic Oculus) 8
King Ymiron kills (Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle) 7
Mal'Ganis defeated (Heroic CoT: Stratholme) 4
The Black Knight kills (Heroic Trial of the Champion) 8
Devourer of Souls kills (Heroic Forge of Souls) 6
Scourgelord Tyrannus kills (Heroic Pit of Saron) 3
Lich King escapes (Heroic Halls of Reflection) 0
As you can see, I've done Drak'Tharon the most. I had no idea. I would have guess HoS or Nexus. I think this lends a small amount of data to support that confirmation bias plays a large role in the perception that we get certain dungeons more than others.
Nov 13th 2008 4:37PM I don't get email confirmations to post some of my comments on these give-aways. Hopefully I'll get this one.

That makes a good healing potion.
Dec 17th 2007 3:42PM The Horde is far better than the Alliance.
May 9th 2007 4:02PM I'm one of those guys who doesn't do any of the theory crafting, so I may not have the most optimal gear and I am new to the hunter class.
One thing that stuck out to me though was you teaching new hunters not to open with aimed shot. Maybe it's because I am specced heavily into the beast master tree, but my pet has no problem holding agro when I open with aimed shot. In fact, the slow casting time of it is what allows my pet to gain plenty of agro before it goes off. When it does crit I will sometimes get agro, but my pet's second growl, a feign death by me, or even a disengage if he somehow reaches me gives it right back to my pet. Opening with aimed shot works well for me.
